Mr. Blonde talks with his man about a private jet. The pilot nonchalantly asks, "Where to, sir?"

"Chicago. I need to get out of the city for a while and visit a few... colleagues." Mr. Blonde says as he lets gravity pull him into his favorite chair.

"But sir," the pilot hesitates, "Chicago is having a bit of a problem."

"Its the weather, isn't it? God damn-"

"No sir. There is a war, as you call it, going on in Chicago."

Mr. Blonde puts down his freshly poured drink, "A war? With who?"

"With... themselves, sir."

"With themselves? What the hell is going on in the Windy city?"

Telkin got don nuff said

Telkin tilts his head, looking wearily at the skimpy Thug tag hanging from his raggedy suit. His lip quivered thinking about his dearest cousin Snidely Whiplash, who'd recently attained the illusive rank of Don for the first time in his families bloodline. War was not fun. War was not fair. But unfortunately, some sacrifices were necessary for the greater good. Telkin wouldn't let his cousins death deter him from shining even brighter in The North Side of Chicago. Stepping up to Mr_Blonde, Telkin clears his throat and speaks shakily,

"What's happened tonight in Chicago will surely be explained when the conflict is over. Until then, it's my personal suggestion to not worry about it unless you're directly effected. To all those allies who've fallen thus far, I beg of you that your souls rest in peace. Those who still fight for us will see their vengeance."

To all allies I've killed RIP!.

Mr. Blonde looks in the other passenger seat where the voice came from. Telkin is sitting next to him, and he didn't even notice. Mr. Blonde relaxes, lights up a smoke, and sits back. Might as well strike up a conversation.

"I heard about your cousin. You have my condolences. But as far as I can tell, it is no crime to be curious. I don't 'worry' about what happened because it didn't happen to me. Frankly I don't care so long as the bullets don't start flying in New York. And I sure as hell will stay out of Chicago until the dust settles and bodies are cleared from the streets. But until an officer slaps some cuffs on my wrists, or someone puts a bullet in my head for asking questions, I'm gonna keep asking questions. Whether or not I get answers is a completely different story.

Very wisely put sir, there is indeed no law as of yet banning curiosity.

As a man who has seen all the excuses of the past from Because we can to we haz ze logs i come forth with a solemn soul.  We live in a business where life insurance is a must and old age a luxury.  Tonight a multi pronged attack devestated two cities but like when Cpt_Harris died, like when chaosspike died, like when each and every leader and godfather has died we brush ourselfs down, pick ourselves up and keep attempting to shape a new future.

We mourn the losses, we congratulate both sides especially for the spirit and ingenuity to fight and attempt to out smart another, whether short term or long and we tie up the lose ends, and pass on the apologies for disruption to business that comes with these conflicts.

Our business is a dangerous one, when i set foot in it, i knew how i would leave it but that is what makes people so passionate, so driven to build, be remembered and the hope one day to create and defend what they created.  For the dead of both sides, may your next of kin live longer and achieve more and for the living may we learn from history and innovate to create something more then those before us.

Walks away, quietly
