Anybody able to get one of these systems? I hunted stores, tried to pre-order in June, but still had no luck. I'm still hunting in the hopes of getting 'em for the kids in time for Christmas. Do I have any hope of getting one without paying a premium on ebay? So... If you got one...

How'd you get it? Preorderd the day it went on Amazon So far so good? Can't complain, pretty good. Is it worth the anguish? Not in my opinion. Most the good games won't come out til Spring. Though, 64 person battlefield is sweet and the graphics/size of AC:Black Flag is incredible. Which is better? Don't have a PS4, so can't say. The Kinect voice controls are really really really good, so I'd say that's gotta be a plus for Microsoft. Again wouldn't be able to tell you much about the PS4 tho |

If you are using eBay, make sure you aren't just bidding to receive a picture of the console. It happens quite frequently, believe it or not. |

Call your local bestbuy, their voicemail tells you when the next truck is coming in specifically. "We are currently out of stock of Xbox Ones and PS4s, however our next shipment comes in Wednesday" type dealio. |

Keep checking amazon! They get them periodically and they go faast! I honestly cant tell you much more than that Ask your guys at Gamestop, they'll know. I have the ONE and its pretty sweet! I preordered it on the day of E3 back in June. |

| Walmart usually gets replacement shipments on electronics Tuesday am. I saw two of each this past tuesday, but they where gone within 10 minutes or so | |

Ha! Found two Xbox Ones. One at Target - they got a shipment of 9. We ended up getting the last one. Then we went over to Best Buy - and they didn't have any. But we asked them to check the back...and they did have one. Somebody preordered it, but never came back so they released it to the public. Went to Toys R Us to see if they had any PS4s (other places didn't have any) and they were giving out tickets for a guaranteed shipment on 12/16. But we were #10 in line and they had 9 tickets. So, still looking. |

the wife managed to get me one, she found this site that checks stocks in your area, as and when they come in, they send am alert to your phone and you have to be fast, i ahve to say, its effing brilliant. |

I found a couple of those sites too. GameStop Power Up and Alerts@nowinstock.net. They seem to be sending out alerts re: XBox Ones, but haven't heard anything about PS4s. |
