Awesome was awaiting. He was, unsurprisingly, awaiting at the docks. Awaiting for his contact to arrive. His work always seemed to lead him to the docks. It was, indeed, the optimum location at which to conduct illegal activities. Be they thefts, or murders, or business transactions. 'Twas the latter this evening. A business transaction involving money and narcotics. Heroin, to be precise. He was buying; his contact selling. He looked up at the stars, and using his expert astronomical skills, concluded that the time was 11:30 pm. The time at which he had arranged to meet his contact. Awesome had arrived early. He always arrived early. He did so because he believed turning up fashionably late to be out-of-fashion. Early is the new black. And he likes black. A sound startled him. He turned about-face. There, now before him, stood a man. A man wearing a black coat and a black hat. He was hidden in the shadows. Believing this man to be his contact, Awesome approached. And asked him their code-question. Excuse me, sir, but are you awesome? The man scowled and shook his head in frustration. No, I'm not. You are. He didn't look pleased. Awesome smiled and approached further. Into the folds of his cloak he reached, and removed from his Pocket of Awesomeness a sealed envelope. He held it out for the other man to take. Is it all there? He asked Yes. $100,000. As promised. Awesome never lies, see? True story. He never does. The man took the envelope and then reached into his own cloak. He removed from it a bottle. He handed it over to Awesome, who peered at its contents in examination. Satisfied, he smiled again, and hid it away in his cloak. The men nodded to each other and began to part, when suddenly lights flashed on around them. Freeze! We have you surrounded. Raise your hands above your head now! Awesome froze. He saw that he was surrounded, and so raised his hands above his head. He was upset. Like, really upset. He, Awesome, caught by the police (for that was indeed who these strange men were)? The contact must have been an undercover agent. Only explanation. And indeed, when Awesome looked over to him, he saw his contact smiling, and walk over to the nearby officers. Another made his way over to Awesome, turned him around, and handcuffed his hands behind his back. You're going down, son. For a long, long time. And with that, Awesome was taken away and into the waiting car, in which he was driven to the police station, charged with drug trafficking, and locked away in a cold, dark cell. |

| I can't wait to see how far into the depths of awesomeness you'll have to reach to get out this one. Might I suggest a third-rate lawyer? One, Harvey Birdman. He's cheap, unorganized, and will probably add more time to your sentence. But, I did mention that he's cheap. | |

This is an unfortunate turn of events. My only advise after hearing this story is: "Two grown men should never meet at the Docks in the middle of the night wearing batman capes" maybe an overcoat, its less conspicuous than a cloak....the coppers know somethings going down when they see a man in a cloak... |

Same thing happened to me. I know what you're going through. You're going down, son. For a long, long time. This is the only difference. I was only locked up for 10 minutes. But I do have a few connections. Walks away smiling |
