Telkin nodded, for he was also in Motor City on business. Not only his bar, but one of the folks above him had asked him to fly in and beat some information out of a weasel. Mixing himself up the same drink that he'd just served Destiny, Telkin offers,

"You wanting another drink ma'am?? And that's good, I'm glad some folks are still carrying on with business as normal after that chaos the other night! I myself lost a fair few amount of friends sadly."

Telkin frowns at the thought, taking a sip of his drink and making a face. He took another sip, and that one went down easier. He was now even more shocked that Destiny had downed it so quickly, he could hardly stand the burning in his throat.

"How the FUCK did you manage to slam that drink?!"
Report Post Tip

Smiling as the barkeep offers another drink.

"I'd like a scotch, but easy on the rocks. I lost a few friends during the chaos that was unleashed upon us the other night."

She starts to chuckle as Telkin struggles to finish his drink.

"I want to say magic, but I'm just a heavy drinker sir."

Report Post Tip
Telkin began to feel a bit dizzy, the drink certainly kicking in quicker than he'd anticipated. He began the process of making Destiny another one whilst he lit a cigarette, blowing a few circles of smoke into the air. His throat was getting more and more used to the drink as he continued to sip on it, though he was beginning to think that getting this drunk this early might turn out badly.

"And here I was thinking I was a heavy drinker!"

Telkin chuckles, finishing off his drink. Adding in the final ingredients for the new drink that his customer wanted, he slid it over to Destiny. Snubbing out his cigarette, Telkin needed to sit down. The floor was beginning to move in its own accord, and he couldn't afford to break a leg.

"Weather looks like it's getting nasty out there, good thing I've got a nice warm place here to chill. Sorry to hear about your losses ma'am, I really hope the rebuilding process is a lengthy one, I'm not one for bloodshed."
Report Post Tip

She smiles as the drink is slid her way, gently taking a sip.

"This is a good drink."

She looks at Telkin almost falling over behind the bar.

"Are you ok back there?"

Chugging the rest of her drink she decides that she don't need another drink for a while.

"Lets hope there are peaceful times in the horizon sir."

Report Post Tip
Telkin clinked his glass against Destiny's empty one as he attempted to stand up. Falling down, his bar stool came with him. Laughing hysterically he stood up and set the bar stool upright. Handing onto the bar for support, he repositions himself comfortably in his seat.

"Oh yes, just *hiccup* fine here! You liking all this snow we've been getting hammered with??"
Report Post Tip

She laughs as Telkin falls of his bar stool, hoping he didn't hurt himself.

"As long as I don't slip and twist my ankle, I don't mind it, how about yourself?"

Report Post Tip
"Oh, I love the stuff personally. Always have since I was a young child! Though I think...walking around in it right now wouldn't go so well, I can barely stand up on a dry floor!"

Telkin chuckled, realizing he did unfortunately have to walk in the slippery conditions outside. Sighing, he lit his last cigarette and tossed his dishes in the sink. Turning to Destiny with a frown,

"Hate to cut this short, but I've got a meeting I must attend pretty soon! Feel free to kick back and chill here if you want, I'm sure to be back in a short while!"
Report Post Tip

"It can be fun every now and then. Yes walking around in it now might not be the best of ideas."

She thinks to herself that she is lucky to be inside right now.

"Thank you for your hospitality and company sir. I think I will linger here a little more before I go back to my sight seeing."

Report Post Tip

"Whiskey would do nicely sir, maybe some rum too"

After giving Telkin his orders, Samuru then heads off to the bathroom to freshen up, on the way back he cannot resist sitting down for a few minutes for a few bong hits, finally peeling himself away he heads over to the bar to check how his drink was coming along..

Report Post Tip

As a purse grab went wrong, he knew was time to duck in somewhere no one would bother him, smelling a strange smelling smoke, he knew he was roaming into an area for potential business.

Walking down, he looked across at Telkin

"something to help me sleep easier tonight please and wake up happy"

scanning round he looked around at the potential clients within

Report Post Tip
Telkin cracked his knuckles, prepared for a long day. He woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and hadn't had much luck turning the day around as of yet. Walking into his bar, he pauses momentarily to join Samuru in smoking some herb, before slipping through the gate to behind the bar. His ears perked up as he heard Samuru's order. Turning his head, he noticed Candy walking in. After a few moments, they too ordered. Hmmm, Telkin thought, I've got a drink that'll do both of these folks well. Telkin grinned, figuring that he'd make one for himself too.

"One moment folks, I may as well make both of you a drink and then myself one, it's absolutely frigid out and I think these drinks will not only warm our bodies up, but perhaps spirits as well."

Telkin lit a cigarette as he grabbed three glasses, working methodically as he poured copious amounts of rum and whiskey into each glass. Once he was content with those levels, he began adding equal amounts of lemon juice, orange juice, and freshly brewed tea into each glass. Grinning as the glasses were now full, he stirred them a few times before sipping his. Smacking his lips together, he wasn't quite satisfied with the taste. AHA! Telkin smacked his forehead as he remembered the ingredient he'd previously forgotten. Adding in a pinch of sugar to each cup, he stirred them once more and slid Samuru and Candy their drinks.

"Enjoy! It's one of my personal favorites."
Report Post Tip

Samuru watched on from the bar as Telkin got to work on his drink, his eyes grew wider and grin bigger as Telkin added the rum and whiskey, however, seeing Telkin pour tea into the drink slightly confused Samuru.

"Haven't seen that before.." he said to Telkin as he poured the tea grinning away like some sort of deranged tea loving Englishman.

Finally Telkin had finished and upon being slid his drink Samuru picked it up and gave it a gentle swirl, putting his nose close to the glass Samuru gave a light sniff as he took in the aroma from the tea and alcohol mix. Not sure what to expect Samuru decided to just go for it and had a big gulp of the drink, pausing for a moment afterwards Samuru then let out a big smile and slammed his fist on the bar.

"Telkin sir you have outdone yourself! I'll take another!"

Samuru then polished off the rest of the drink as he awaited another.

Report Post Tip
Telkin smiled proudly as he sipped away at his drink, thoroughly pleased that Samuru enjoyed his. As Telkin got the proper bottles out again, he decided this time to leave them out. He was feeling that they'd be needed too often to bother putting them in their proper places. Just as he began mixing the rum and whiskey, Telkin felt a cold draft rip through the place. It seemed the last person in didn't shut the door tight enough, and the brutal winds outside had blown his front door open. Shivering, Telkin excused himself for a moment to go shut it.

Resuming his post behind the bar, Telkin finished off his glass while he was making Samuru his second drink of the day. The tea trick had been one he'd recently learned, it gave an interesting taste when mixed with the fruit juices and alcohol. Telkin personally couldn't stand the taste of tea on its own, but it was more than bearable in this combination, it was delicious! Grinning, Telkin finished off Samuru's drink and slid it over, proceeding to mix another one for himself. His eyes felt heavy after having smoked a few bongs, but he wasn't quite yet in as good of a mood as he preferred.

"Care to join me for another bong, Samuru?"
Report Post Tip

Samuru sat rubbing his hands together as he watched in anticipation as Telkin made his second drink when suddenly Telkin stopped and rushed over to the front door and slammed it shut.

Samuru smiled at Telkin upon his return as he noticed Telkin was looking rather pleased with himself.

"Aye, good job sir.. must be the tea warming me up, I hadn't even noticed the door was open!"

Just as he finished speaking Telkin had slid his drink over, Samuru immediately picked it up and took a swig, the tea was hot but just cool enough so it didn't burn his mouth.

"Bong you say? you don't have to ask me twice"

Samuru took another sip of his drink and headed over to the bongs..

Report Post Tip
Telkin looked around the seats to ensure everyone who had ordered was taken care of. Nodding to himself that everything was in order, Telkin lit a cigarette and grabbed his glass, motioning for Samuru to follow him. Taking a seat next to his favorite bong, Telkin reached into his pocket and pulled out a plastic bottle not unlike those you'd see given by doctors for pills. The moment he uncapped it, an amazing scent washed over the immediate vicinity. Grinning, Telkin offered Samuru a sniff before he pulled out some of the weed, crumbling it up into chunks before packing it into the bong.

"Hahaha, I hear ya man. Nothing quite like a good bong hit or two to lift the spirits eh?"

Telkin stated, lighting the bong. Inhaling deeply, Telkin pulled the slider out and cleared it, his face turning bright red as he held the smoke in his lungs to absorb all of the THC. Chuckling as he exhaled, Telkin had to close his eyes for a moment to regain his senses. A wall of calm serenity washed over him as the effects of the marijuana kicked in. This was higher grade stuff than he'd normally leave out for customers, as it was his personal supply and it was quite expensive.

"Careful though, this shit's rather strong."

Telkin sipped on his drink, offering the bong over to Samuru with a grin.

"What brings you to Detroit on this blustery day anyway?"
Report Post Tip

Samuru follows Telkin over to the bongs and takes a seat, watching as Telkin prepared everything Samuru smiled with delight as he took a big whiff of the weed Telkin had in his personal stash.

"Whoa man, that is some good stuff, don't suppose you got that in Detroit".

Watching on as Telkin took a hit and turned bright red he couldn't help but burst into laughter, Samuru then took the bong from Telkin and listened as he was warned about the potency of this particular weed, however, Samuru was sure he wouldn't have a problem with it at all. Putting it to his lips Samuru inhaled deeply and began to hold it in but within seconds he found himself coughing as the smoke overpowered him, passing the bong back to Telkin quickly, he stood up and cleared his throat.

"Damn man, it's been a while I guess.."

Samuru then sits back down and waits for another hit

Report Post Tip
Telkin couldn't help but to laugh as Samuru coughed on the smoke, for he had indeed warned the fella. He snubbed out his cigarette before taking the bong back from Samuru. He was feeling infinitely better now, though he couldn't peg whether it was the weed or the alcohol that was doing the trick. Deciding he'd better keep on doing both just to be safe, Telkin took a nice rip off the bong before chugging down the rest of his drink all without breathing the smoke out. When he exhaled, hardly any smoke came out. He stood up too quickly and got dizzy, but Telkin didn't care. Starting to walk towards the bar, Telkin looked over his shoulder.

"How's your drink coming along mate?? I'm ready for another,"

Telkin said, his eyes thoroughly bloodshot at this point. His stomach began growling loudly as he started to mix up a different drink, for he wasn't feeling another drink with tea in it. He pondered momentarily how he was going to eat if he was at work when he remembered "...Duh, I own a bar. I can just make food here". Feeling slightly stupid for that thought process, Telkin was glad that he didn't verbalize it.

"You hungry at all?? My munchies are getting the best of me, I think I'm gonna whip up some fried chicken and perhaps some mozzarella sticks."
Report Post Tip

Watching Telkin take a hit then down his drink made Samuru look on in amazement, picking up the bong Telkin had just put down Samuru took a deep breath and slowly exhaled to prepare himself for the upcoming hit, taking a hit and holding it in he heard Telkin ask him something but didn't quite catch it as everything was beginning to feel slightly distant, almost forgetting Samuru exhaled the smoke and stood up.

"Did you say something? I think I need a drink"

Samuru looked around briefly but couldn't see Telkin from where he was stood, making his way over to the bar Samuru almost stumbled into a chair which had been left slightly out from the table, narrowly avoiding an embarrassing situation with a chair he finally found himself at the bar and sat down, seeing his drink from earlier was still half full he picked it up and downed it.

"Jeez! that taste like crap cold!"

Just as Samuru had put his glass down, Telkin seemed to appear from nowhere speaking about fried chicken and mozzarella sticks.

"Sounds good mate, got any other great drinks up your sleeve?"

Report Post Tip
Telkin heard the beep from the deep fryer and with lightning quick speed, he dropped a batch of battered chicken strips into the grease. Enjoying the sizzling sounds of the meat being cooked, he turned and surveyed his liquor selection. He wasn't quite sure what drink he wanted for himself, but he could figure that out after he got Samuru taken care of. Tilting his head he asks,

"Depends, which type(s) of liquor are you in the mood for?"

Telkin smiled, downing a couple shots of rum before lighting a cigarette. While he waited for Samuru to think of an answer, Telkin slipped away from the bar and grabbed the bong they had been smoking out of, setting it on the bar as he stepped back behind it. He uncapped his plastic bottle once again and this time, couldn't smell the weed. He wasn't shocked though, as the only scent that could be identified at the moment was that of grease, the chicken strips well on their way to being done.

"Any dipping sauce with these chicken strips??"
Report Post Tip

Listening to the sizzling coming from the fryer Samuru was almost licking his lips at the thought of fried chicken, the aroma of grease and chicken quickly filled the room and Samuru felt his stomach begin to rumble just as Telkin was asking him what drink he'd like.

"Well sir, what can you do with vodka?"

As Telkin went away from the bar for a moment Samuru took a minute to see how his dart skills were holding up, after almost hitting the wall with all three he quickly decided to sit back down, just as he had sat down Telkin had arrived back at the bar and placed the bong in front of him and was asking him about dipping sauce.

"Anything you got that's spicy my friend"
