| Minimum Rank for LH and RH | Started by: Charlie_Scene on Dec 20, '13 15:35 |

Ive been playing for some time now. The one thing grinds my gears, is that Thugs and Goombas are getting the positions of RH and LH. I get that people want their friends as their hands, I get that. They trust them. I get that. What about, the people that bust their asses, to move up in the family?
I believe there should be a minimal rank before they can get the position as RH and LH.
I know this probably wont get very far, but its a shot in the dark. |

This is something that has bothered me, too. I'm relatively new to these parts, so I don't feel as though I have much of a vote. That's ok. I haven't earned it yet. That being said, it does irk me a bit to see slanty names down near the bottom of the list. I feel like the structure of the districts won't change much as long as people who were RHM or LHM get put right back into the same position with their next of kin right away. I know why it happens. I understand why it happens. I even kind of agree with why it happens. But it still bugs me a bit. |

This also bugs me quite a bit. I too understand why it happens, maybe the 2 or 3 of you have worked together before and want to do it again! Maybe he/she is just a very trustworthy person. But, yet I must agree with Charlie here. It is EXTREMELY annoying to bust your ass for months for a family just to know if the RH or LH passes away then nothing is going to change!
But,, yet even if this change was made. I'm pretty sure what you would see will be Temp. Hands until the other person is back to the rank they need to be at. |

| who you where, and what your coffeeshop relationship to others are far more important than attempting to have some sort of reason and logic about these positions. its been suggested time and time again, but never gets anywhere. always the same lines are tossed about. oh i know i can trust him, we worked together before, or he has to be my hand, no one else can do it. | |

Fairly sure this has been suggested in the past. In real life, I could just as easily choose my inexperienced best friend or brother to be my RHM as opposed to my most seasoned, trusted capo. |

Yes I agree LaPaglia, but since it is a game. I believe we should make it more of an equal opportunity for everyone to excel and get there chance. |

| I don't really want to see a rule change to make it happen, but I bet people who led in this way would have some more loyal followers. I want to work for somebody who I trust and think is acting in the best interest of the family. Who am I to decide that for him/her? | |
