These last days we've been experiencing a new change that puts a limit in mobmails responses to save memory. It's perfectly reasonable to see where the admins came from but i say we can save a lot of memory if we think about the business district.

The point here is that old business that arent visited and have a bit of replies are filling the memory nonsensely (<-- i dont even know if thats an real word) so my idea is to inplement the business demoliton and recovering option.

First of all im not talking about the admin demolition when the player requires it. Let's say that someone had (Dead owners business) an business in 2012 that no one visits anymore. The admins can demolish it to save memory since its useless and the owner is dead anyway. It's very simple, if a business is not visited and quite old, demolish it. It only consumes space and no one visits it.

That said i present the business recovering idea. Lets say you have an business in NY. If you die it will be possible to transfer the business to your ''son''. Of course some requirements shall be filled such living in the same city as the business thread. It's a very very raw idea but some feedback would be appreciated.

Just to clarify:

• Old, unvisted and not owned business should be demolished to save memory and delet useless stuff.
• Not owned business (dead owner) can be recovered by it's son if required and if it fill certain requirements.

Pros: Memory saving, useless stuff remove.

Cons: I dont see any cons other than people wanting to read old texts they did months ago for no reasonable reason?

OOC: We have threads from months or years ago in the BDF section for nothing. And sorry for my english, it's not my mother tongue.

I believe it is possibly to look at streets, ooc, BD, outside all the same for a clear up.  I understand some threads are looked at for nostalgia, but others limiting what they offer could be cleared and hopefully encourage new role players. posts etcs

indeed BTSP! I forgot to point these sections too, there are hundreds or thousand topics laying around without a single visit in ages :) 

The only thing I disagree with is the requirement that you live in the same city to recover the thread. I know more then a few people who have businisses all over. So the requirement to live in the city as the thread would force people to choose one of multiple threads that might still be active, Which discourages people to spread businesses around.

hmm thinking on this side its makes sense. I too know a few people with business everywhere. Sounds good for me hehe Now to recover some business the home city is not important anymore. The Idea is still up! Thanks for changing my view Philli_Stein.

It would be nice to be also able to search for a bloodlines speaches...instead of just a topic. there has been a few times i wanted to reference something, i knew who worte it but can not remeber what it was called... it would be nice to have say; search a bloodlines threads/speaches...so say search roman and a list of all his speaches come up, not sure if thats entirely possible but i think it owuld be a good inclusion.
