Things were looking up for young Toby. He had a new job, a new car, a fat wallet and and even fatter bank account. You could say he was living the dream. As Toby cruised around town in his fancy new car he would occasionally slow down to flaunt his good looks to passing by woman.

They all loved him.

It was always Toby's dream to be the big man around the city. He wanted to be the guy everyone looked too, and now it had come true. He was the big man around town. Nobody had the gall to flash him a bad look.

They all feared him.

Toby always wanted to have money. It was something he had always dreamed of. Some called it his only aspiration in life. But to Toby it was just about the money, he wanted the respect. No more stupid nick names for him. Never again would he be a "champ, tiger, or lad."

They all looked up to him.

Things started as they usually do. Toby was cruising around down, he had no idea where he was or where he was going. As he looked out the window of his car he saw an older man glaring at him as he drove past.

"What a mean look," he thought to himself.

Shrugging it off Toby glanced out the passenger side to see if he could spot any good looking ladies to impress, but once again his eyes met with a mean looking man.

"Two in one block? The fuck is going on?" He thought to himself.

As Toby approached the end of the block the traffic light switched from green to red. And Toby slowed his car down to a stop. All of a sudden Toby begins to hear somebody yelling way off behind him.

"Get up ya deadbeat! Go do something with yourself!"

Looking around behind him Toby saw nobody on the street. Not a single person at all. The voice was getting louder.

"I said, get up ya deadbeat and go do something with yourself!"

Getting nervous Toby whips his head around desperately trying to find the source of the yelling.

"Come on ya deadbeat, get the move on and do something with yourself!"

The voice was definitely moving closer to Toby. In a panic Toby threw his foot to the petal and sped though the still red traffic intersection. Breathing a sigh of relief Toby looked in his rear-view mirror only to see the face of the older looking man staring at him from the backseat.

"Let's go ya deadbeat time to get the lead out!"

Toby slammed his foot on the break and was thrown forward from the force. As he rubbed his eyes Toby saw the face of his Uncle standing at the foot of his bed staring at him.

"Let's go ya deadbeat. Its time you got a job. Lazy fucker."

Toby yawned sheepishly and closed his eyes again rolling over.

"My mother told me to chase my dreams and that's just what I plan on doing."
