As many of you saw recently, a nice gesture (50k gift from Admin staff to users) went a bit awry, as the 50k got multiplied many times over through an accident in the automation system. For the most part, the issue was cleaned up almost immediately. However for a couple people, this meant a late holiday spending spree. This has become a striking trend I hope will trickle off. In the last week we have had this issue, and another bug within Roulette. Roulette wasn't even reported to us as several people played around 50-60,000 hands and profited heavily. As players it is your DUTY to report bugs to us. "10) All bugs should be reported" Rule 10 in your agreement to play our game. All it takes is a mobmail to HelpDesk. To be honest, other players should look around their surroundings, see those people exploiting game bugs by getting rich quick, getting loads of bodyguards, and be outraged. Crewleaders should also take a proactive stance against anyone who seems suspicious. It isn't acceptable to say, "Well, it didn't really seem suspicious enough to bother you about it." Bear in mind we're constantly asked how close someone is to a rank, so it's not going to kill us if we have to look into any part of the game that may give an unfair advantage. You will be SAVING us time if you tell us how and where you may have found a bug. So, be honest, because if you conceal something, the odds are we will find it, and we are going to act on it. |
