Hello guys... I thought I would start a debate. I am currently saving my money to purchase a truck. I have heard many things about either brand andwanted more input before I make that final decision. I'd like to hear your point on the brands and any stories about trucks youve owned and why shouldnt by that one. If you have a counter claim to what someone has said regarding anything then by all means knock it down. I wanna know arguably with out a doubt what brand/era type of truck I should get myself in. Im looking at any brand Ford or chevy or any other brand you think is best. Tis a lot of money to waste on something that's gonna be shit so trying to save me trouble and be proud of my truck and put money into it. I am also interested for shits and giggles at the end if you have any truck jokes! |

Squishy!!! Well to be honest ive never owned a truck, after I make this purchase I want it to last for a LONG time. To be honest im not sure what I would be doing with it, but 70% most likely I will use it for work. I do plant work and i have side jobs i will be starting in the future. So it will be hauling god knows what, and im sure ALOT of people will be asking me to haul god knows what. I also want to be able to pull/push anyone out of just about any problem, and go through anything. Im in Southwest Louisiana... there's alot of mud down here. The humidity is horrid down here it can do serious damage to some vehicles over time. If it has a DEF keep it away from me Hauling random shit %25 Pulling people out of mud 3% Mudriding 5% Work 60% Travel 7% I guess lol |

I always loved my land rover due to the versatility of it, and how was pretty much indestructible. Was handy for tools, equipment in the back,could tow a caravan depending how far away i was working. Petrol was always expensive, but can always pick them up second hand as good as the day bought. Like most trucks though heavy on fuel, and replacing parts at stages |

i have had the same land rover for 15 years maybe and never a days trouble. I use it more for farm and contruction though, towing plant sometimes |
