I've not heard of many people who want to find one just to kill it, seems like this guy knew he would make the news if he pretended well enough that he had a fully preserved dead Bigfoot without actually having to give any actual proof. Kudos to him.

I'm from San Antonio, and let me tell you the woods outside of it are not Sasquatch friendly. It's hot and humid and full of spikey plants and tarantulas. If Sasquatch lived there he'd be dehydrated and emaciated and probably easy to catch.

I also like how on Fox News it was in the "science" section and they seem to get the details wrong; it's reported that he shot the creature in California.

My favorite part of the whole thing though? "But this is not the first time Dyer has claimed to find Bigfoot’s body. The National Geographic News reported in 2008 that Dyer claimed to media that he had a Bigfoot body that later turned out to be a rubber ape costume."

Seems legit.
