First of all i want to say that only a little part of this idea is based in some changes that will be added down the road. The concept, if im not wrong is new. That said i want to present the Mayor feature. Nahh im not talking about the taxes thing... Forget that! Behold the new mayor feature!

I don't know how feasible this is, especially with the implementation of the districts, but i think it is an interesting idea. I'd love to see a trail of some sort for how this would work. oop, on second thought, I know how to make it work. Perhaps instead of/in addition to just having a mayor for the entire city, You have an alderman for each district. if used instead of a mayor, the aldermen would do the same thing, but only for the district. if in addition too, then killing an alderman could destabilize a district for say 12 hours, while killing the mayor would destabilize the entire city for 12 hours. You want to knock a whole city out for a full 24 hours, You kill aldermen and mayor.
Overall, well thought through, and a concept that I think could be used to good effect.
HOw do you feel the bonuses might work if the aldermen and mayor were used? perhaps the aldermens death would, instead of stopping the drug trade completely, simply make the numbers less favorable, while the mayors death would shut them down entirely? |

I agree with the aldermen thing! Great idead you have right there Philli! Oh yeah, total shutdown if the mayor dies and harder transactions if only the alderman dies. Now, my solution for the bonus to work fine with both mayor and aldermen is to ''split'' its effectiveness. Lets say that theres 3 different set ups in the bonus scale. 0, 0.5 and 1. One means that both mayor and alderman is in town while 0.5 means only one of them is. I.E.: If something were to receive a bonus of 100% if both men are in town, then, it only gets 50% if only one of them are. It would work with both bonus and losses. What you think?
