I've seen some pretty elaborate ones in recent days. There's one called "Photosynthesis" where you nurture trees. Or Dixit, which is a brilliant concept of suggestive story telling. |

I remember years ago playing Backgammon. I used to love that game. You could carry your game around with you in a letter case. |

Think this depends on the situation. Chess and backammon are both great games, that I love, but they need a bit of focus, and not thw kind of games I like play when socializing. Risk and Monopoly are better suited for social occations. |

| The best board game for me is ‚Settlers of Catan‘. Up to four players, it takes about 2-3 hours to complete and combines strategy and luck in the perfect way. Try it sometime! :) | |
