Gaius stepped to the soap box to enter his few words into the mix of things. He plucked a cigarette from a gold in-lined case that his Godfather had given him mere weeks before and stuck it to his lips. Striking a match against his boot he straightened himself and waited for the crowds voices to die down while he placed the fire to the end of his cigarette and inhaled the blue cloud that seemed to follow him around these days.

Slowly, he started to speak, waiting for the words to form into phrases and then complete thoughts and idea's.

Rarely these days do we see leaders step into these streets and explain their actions. Let's be honest, it's not something that is required in our world anymore. It is a refreshing blast to the past to see a leader such as yourself do exactly that.

Your reasons, were your own, and until you came and made this speech none of us knew the reasons why. To be honest, I didn't need to know. You said move and that's exactly what your city did.

The losses were horrific on both sides, but at the end of the day that's our job around here isn't it? If a few deaths are required to keep the majority of the population safe then death it is.

Godfather, your honesty, integrity, and loyalty are admirable. It is something we should all aspire to achieve.

Stepping down, Gaius flicked his butt to the cobblestone street and disappeared into the crowd with a few more wallets than he had began with. The mission was a success!

It's always hard choosing what will be the right path, and how much to risk.  When you can see a district wiped and lies appear of course it sets the alarm bells ringing.  The truth is we should all be looking out to be protecting our districts, our allies and unfortunately like dominos if something isn't removed quick all fall quickly.

Even making the best decision isn't always easy but thats the challenge of leadership.
