Franklin`Figueroa in his thread asks an age old question: A mafioso from another family shows disrespect to a leader. Then Mr. Figueroa gave two "what would you do" opinions: 1) if you are the leader of the disrespecting mafioso. 2) you are the leader being disrespected. Most leader would say kill the disrespectful Mafioso. First I will start off by say killing is a cop-out to prevent confronting a challenging problem. Leaders are suppose to confront problems like this and come up with solutions that benefit the society as a whole. The answer I had for this question was simple and a good answer to a problem that's happens often. 1. Send the member a message as such: You have been behaving in a very disrespectful manner to others. You owe me 100k because you have disgraced the family by you disrespectful ways. Give me the money with in 24 hours. Once you paid your debt of 100k I will give 80% of that money to the leader you disrespected. If you do this you will be considered having paid for your disrespect. If you don't give the money with in the given time you will have fallen out of favor and be kicked out of the family. You will receive no pro wacks from the family if any members are found helping you they too will be put in this situation. If you join another family while being out of favor you will be killed. Your only option to living is to survive 24 hours out of favor. If can do this I will see it as your debt paid. 2) Wait for my money or wait until the member falls out of favor. ------- The leader accusing a member of disrespect would have to show me proof of the family member's disrespect. Mms, ws, and things that can be modified will not be counted as proof(because leader could be lying the burdened of proof always falls on the accuser ). Only posts will be seen as proof. I will always give a family members the benefit of the doubt. The amount owed for being disrespectful will go up by a 100k each time it happens. Leader should make standards that confront very day problems, such as, the solution I have given above. This should be made a standard protocol. It benefits everybody. Boss's get money from the disrespecting Mafioso and the disrespectful Mafioso loses money or falls out of favor for a time. In a community of structure death is low. Leaders are responsible to making the world they lead a structured world of laws and protocol . Killing is a cop-out and I have proven that. |

you know you already said that just down the street in retort to my speech. If you want to continue to reiterate the regurgitated and already spoken one more again speeches, at least make it politicle and change a few words to make appear original. Otherwise, continue in the coversation that has already begun. That is unless you are just trying to get more speeches the SWYW...I'm pretty sure no one is in the running for SWYW's speeches of plenty... I'm not sure that made sense at all... |

The reason is because this has nothing to do with your topic Mr. Figueroa. I am only using the answer I used in your thread when answering the question you asked as an example for an issue I am addressing in my thread "Something I want to know" I could not address the issue confronted in "Something I want to know" until I had a consensus. Beelz I think you didn't read my other thread. I think you just read enough to criticize if you had read more of the context in "Something I would like to know" you would have read a post I made stating that I was going to address the consensus of "War (killing) is a must for those problems that have no other answer". My stance on this is that consensus is based on a fallacy, that, problems that are widely seen as the only good solution to them is involving killing. The example I give here is a perfect example of this. |

| I didn't say your family. I said leaders should make standards that confront very day problems. I talked about standards and laws that would give structure to our world. All the leaders would have to agree on the laws and standards for it to work. I spend a lot of time putting my thoughts together. I didn't write this thread for careless reading. I wrote this so people could clearly understand my position, and maybe we could have some good change that would help the mafia world. | |

there must be 101 things you all can debate over then double spacing and digging at one another...You all wonder why its always the same people posting threads... smiles at the obvious we all like a good challenge occassionally....I dont know many of you here on this post...I can rant with the best of them stop smiling SWYW If you dont like the post or think its monotonous then simply dont post...I beleive that those of you who complain and pick apart others threads do indeed enjoy them in some sense. As far as comments aimed toward fulfilling SWYW's quota for the streets. So I suppose any wise guy now in that family will be accused of kissing his ass...Please...we all have our own minds...theres many ways to lead...Also ways to have a presence and be known in this game without posting daily on the forum. Doesnt make us all his puppets for heavens sake..I like that he has challenged wise-guys to do something other then be a 'click monkey'....If I was able I would accept his challenge. You get what you give out in this world. When Is the last time there has been a great rp thread. Something that piqued your interest besides war and CL...Sprozza came up with one...I certainly read them daily...but to post on them daily would get to be a ritual in repeating the same view over and over. I realize Im just as guilty as the next person, bordering on hypocritial... Bottom line is I think/know all of us, myself included could remedy the repetativeness of ideas if we spent the energy we use critizing and turn it into something creative, our forums would be awesome and entertaining. We all would benefit from that. Which was most likely SWYW's hope when he made it an requirement. Smart....and heres a word for you innovative Save all your 'put your money where your mouth is' replys...Or better yet start a new thread about it snickers |
