I guess I can elaborate too, she was given a story that would ensure my father was taken out in a quick matter. My father left because your mother put a thug as the LH (I should make it clear that I wanted nothing to do with the position, I'm sure you knew that though)  in a fairly established crew, plain and simple. There were some other reasons but my father was in the streets debating this same thing hours before it happened, it was the final straw.

This bloodline has never taken a rogue shot and it's not my style either.

My father was finishing up some important things before he met his end and didn't have time to debate. He had someone, your mother knew on a personal level, go with a reason that might not have hurt as bad as the truth. Coffee shops aside, the respect was gone.

 

From somebody she considered a friend, Bob, she would've preferred the truth to a bunch of weak lines.

So what is in a name? For me it is Reputation. An reputation is not built overnight. Sometimes it takes years to establish a reputation for your name and bloodline. Most of the leaders of our society has already bid their time hence their bloodline has already established their reputation. They are where they are because they have made a name not only for themselves but for their entire lineage.

Personally...I've trusted people from specific bloodlines over others. That's a cold hard fact. However, I have also trusted people who's parents I have never met over people whose parents bled into the same mud as me and frankly? It's a crapshoot. I've had my fingers burned on certain instances of both categories. 

However, I have also had immensely rewarding experiences from both of them as well. 

My point? Well, it's simple. You go with your gut. When I first arrived on these shores...Godmother(she was a Don then) bip was not someone I knew.At all. I didn't even know what her bloodline was called...However, I did know other leaders on a much more personal basis. However, I chose to join bip simply because she seemed like a fair leader destined for success. I took the plunge and I have ended up here. 

Whenever I come at any sort of crossroads where I will have to decide between coffeeshop loyalties built over generations or moofia friendships built over a couple beers, I just choose whatever seems to be the better option AT that moment. I deal with these things on a case by case basis. I don't think there should be any hard and fast rule saying 'THIS' is better than 'THAT'.

I think AlexMoran is a nice name and the way he wears that Pink TUTU gets me all weak at the knees.
