As Aurora the RHM to the Godmother and her fair friend Mirage walk up and down the streets of Detroit taking in the sights, they come across a big fuss in the middle of Main Street. The traffic is blocked and Digger Rourke is hard away at work on some sort of a project which resembles a stage of sorts Aurora: Hey Diggie what's up? Wipes off the sweat off his face and smiles Hey how are you Aurora? Aurora: Fine Thank You! Mirage: So Diggie whats all the fuss, why are the commuters of our fair city putting up with this arrangement in the middle of Main St? Digger bosses around another couple of workers and gives one the Rourke's a cold look for his act and tosses the first thing he can grab at the silly Rourke You see the fine ladies of det, there is a big Rourke celebration in the works! Aurora and Mirage's eyes light up No! No! it has nothing to do with your Husband Aurora, nor anything to do with your Paris mistake Mirage. Wonders if a 40 day mistake still qualifies as such. But ladies two of our Rourkiest members have progressed to the ranks of Consigliere. It is only a matter of time before one of them takes that seat at center stage on Main street Det to be the "Rourkiest Don" Now only one thing remains, who will be showered with tales of greatness and odes of long reigns: ThomasRourke Or MickeyRourke? |

Slamming down his cigarette as he walks up, DCIAC smiles as he comes upon the scene... I feel that our world balances on the edge of a knife, we are walking towards great days for all mafioso in this world of ours, with many Dons and Consiglieres walking among us, not to mention our Godmother, we have a strong and stable base of power in our fair cities, and we are at peace and all are benefiting. I can only hope that no one strays from the path, as the knife's edge we tread upon is high above the ground, and if any one of us strays but a little, many will make a fall I fear they are very unlikely to survive. However, I do believe that great times are ahead for all of us, and I will be honored to be on hand when either MickeyRourke or ThomasRourke, both fine and honorable men in this thing of ours, achieves something truly amazing, the rank of Don, though I would not be surprised if the man who is not first to Don, happens to be close behind. Good luck to you both, and a round of applause for Digger for putting this together to be prepared for such an auspicious occasion. DCIAC gives a short applause, then flips his card up onto the stage right in front of where Digger was kneeling, pounding a stubborn nail Digger, as is his custom... Give a call if I can help! ...but by the time Digger looks up, DCIAC is gone, a flash from the .308 revolver on his hip, and puff of smoke from a fresh cigarette the only signs he was ever there. |
