I think there should be a filter for the dice program that lets us bar some people from accepting our open bets.  Not to say I’m a poor sport about it, but when I lose I often like to offer a double or nothing bet, as a gentleman gambler myself I pretty well ALWAYS take these when offered to me by someone who loses, and am somewhat put off by people who don’t do the same.  

Realistically , if I were approached by one of these people again who wanted to take my bet, I’d tell them to go kick rocks instead of letting them roll against me.  I’m thinking like a reverse ignore list, where they won’t see your open posts, but you can still accept theres if you want to risk it with them still.

The way I see it, if we can select an individual person to bet against, why not select individuals we don’t want to bet against as well?

OLD-MAN, I'm not saying a bet wouldn't be honored, what I'm saying is you should have the right to say no to certain people, just like you have the right to bet only one person.   Just because I'm standing around some alley playing dice with a bunch of people doesn't mean I have to offer all of them bets.

I must admit, this feature is brand new to me. I just now looked at it to see what you were talking about.

Rather than block a specific person, what if you could choose to go up against three or four selected individuals, first one to accept gets the game type thing .. or each person in the list could be bet individually? In a dice game, can't you take more than one persons bet?

Would this not be a workable solution, did I just complicate something that was simple, or should someone who doesn't gamble mind their own business? ; )

Mercury, your idea is good, but doesn't actually have any affect on the idea as stated. I'd love to see your change get it's own thread.

I think that the original idea is a good one. the ability to block people from accepting your bets wouldn't really be a bad one. That said, If i don't want someone excepting my bets, I probably don't want to accept theirs either. So For me, this would go both ways
