I dont agree sorry, I think earning should reset. Maybe if you have been in that family before it should be saved and set back to amount you had earned them in past |

I fully agree with this post! Or maybe there is an option for the Crewleader you are transferring to can agree or disagree with this! |

Maybe I am overcomplicating this but I don't understand how this would work. It is not described very well. Is this just an earnings transfer where no funds change hands (you carry your numbers but not the cash to a new C)? Are you saying if you earned 10 mil for your CL that 10 mil should go to the new CL? And Titus, if anything (and I am not saying I am behind this I am only looking for a better description) the Crewleader you are transferring FROM would have to agree or disagree if real game cash was changing hands. |

No Mercury, I think there should be 2 colums for it honestly. One for Total Earning, and one for current earnings(Family your in). Instead of what I had said earlier. |

Ya titus that sounds better, like on your profile your earnings should continue rising no matter how many families you change between. However i think it's stupid if earnings carried over to your new family. In your family stats it should be back to 0 as it's a whole different family and you havnt earned jack shit for the new one. |

In a profile would be the place for that. I guess total earnings matter to some. I am personally not hooked on earnings like I was on phonics but I can see where a line in a profile would be alright. |

I personally think that's the only place where it's ok for them to transfer. When you transfer no don cares about how much you earned for your last family, they want to know how much your going to earn for them. Doesn't matter if it's same district, family, whatever. Family earnings should always be reset when joining a new one. That's just my opinion tho. |

Oh mercury. That pun. it hurt.
Anyway, I'm a fan of keeping a personal record of total earnings, just so you can see. I do like to use that as a gauge of how well i'm playing cashwise, and if i change between families, I lose that |

| Personally I disagree with this, whatever you have done in one family should stay there, if you earned 5 million for one crew leader would that money suddenly go into the new leaders bank account? It shouldn't carry over to a new crew. However I think if it kept track of what family and what earnings you had contributed to it that would be a good idea because it'd keep track of how often you donated and for what family. | |

I disagree, Your earnings should reset when transferring crews.. You could however have a "lifetime earnings" in your profile only, that tells you your earnings on that particular character. |

If you move crews within the same district, or are force transferred by the godfather, then yes, 100% |

So the information that a crewleader users for accounting purposes to see how much you kicked up to him would no longer be correct? I'm not sure I see the value in this. If you could walk me through the reasons for, the motivations behind, and the intended results for this feature, maybe you can help me better understand it. |

squishy, that's a fair point, although any CL doing the thing right would likely be off by a minimal amount as they add you to whatever list they use to track from week to week. how about the suggestion made above that there be an added line in the profile page with lifetime earnings, which would allow for the kind of personal tracking that people seem to want from this? |
