Kuku's Legacy p3 Feuds, Plumbers, Prem, BGs, Started by: Kuku on Feb 13, '14 19:54

This bloodline has by now achieved leadership, prominence, relative wealth and introductions to the "ruling elite".  He had, however, a number of grudges and he intended to use the Streets to act them out.

RJFuller

The fuller lineage is now-a-days better know for roller-skating and rogueing, but back in the day, Kuku and he had a serious beef.  It is documented here and here as well as elsewhere.  In lots of places.  Like here - the always excitable Teq bloodline got involved in discussing this here

Francis_Kuklinski

Francis rose to prominence, a Hand position under LaQuenta, he was taken down for a stupid and shameful killing.

Bunk & Bonzo

My now, the Kuklinski lineage was fairly toxic, CLs wouldn't allow him in, even friends wouldn't risk an association.  So it was that Kuku came up with a disguise - Bunk.  Bunk was a drunk, who wrote in the Streets looking for company (here).  A fellow named Gaius liked his Street presence and invited him into his crew.  He was killed but his son came back.  He too died in war, and a credible bloodline was now created.

Bonzo continued with this subterfuge...

The Plumbers Are Formed: Hundred Million Dollar Hit on Roman

A hit valued at $100M was placed on Roman.  An associate of Bonzo claimed that it was the first act of a new group named The Plumbers (here) .  I can exclusively reveal what everyone already knows: we didn't place it - I don't know who did.

Who did?

The Plumbers - First Blood

At this time, there were three members of the plumbers, one of whom was Bonzo, undercover in EvilClown's crew.  A shooter approached and asked to join.  As with all approaches made to a Kuku group, he had to prove he was genuine, with information and other commodities.  Egwene was targeted (I've forgotten why) and was shot, proving that this was a group capable of killing.  Not very impressive killing, but enough to create a bit of tension.  See here for more information.

The Plumbers Get Detroit Levelled

Bonzo/Kuku was spending a lot of time in IRC Avenue, and got talking to Iocaste about their common enemy, Prem.  After some decidedly silly remarks, Kuku pointed out that if he passed logs of their conversations to Prem, Prem would kill Iocaste.  Kuku asked for three million not to do this.  Iocaste refused "on principle".  Kuku dropped the price to a million.  Iocaste still refused.

Kuku explained that once he made a threat he couldn't not carry it out...  Iocaste didn't budge.  So it was that a strange Kuku/Prem alliance caused the levelling of Detroit.

See here for more information and Prem's statement about this

Bonzo Gets Busted!

In an usually stupid move, Bonzo outted himself as a member of the Plumbers and is mocked by Chuckle here

Bonzo knew the end was nigh and embarked on a killing spree, detailed here and causing a bit of trouble for his CL at the time, EvilClown, something he regretted at the time and would regret more in the future

This first involvement in an underground faction brought Kuku to the notice of some people who were far better organised than him, more numerous and had a better understanding of how things worked.  The scene was set for some high drama, intrigue, suspense and a lot of Street activity.  Kuku's lineage had caused the fall of another city, been involved in the killing of a number of ranking members and some BGs.  However, this was small beer compared to what was to come.

Tune in next time for more...

Who did place the $100,000,000 hit on Roman??  I've always wondered...

Report Post Tip

I believe TeQ put up the hit.

Report Post Tip

Reallllyy??  That's interesting!  And a bit of a waste of $100M...

Why'd he do it?

Report Post Tip

A bit disappointed really, was hoping for more detail than this.

All the same, I joined this life solely to read it.

Report Post Tip

Stelengum - what bloodline you from?

Report Post Tip

I was really hoping for more on the RJfuller times when you both made yourselves look fools.

Bummer

Report Post Tip

Well, I'm trying not to stir up old adversarial arguments.

But maybe I will in the next instalment.

Report Post Tip

Can we confirm that it was TeQ who put the hit up? Not a story my line has ever heard the TeQ line tell.

Report Post Tip

You missed the part where you were killed over and over by ScipitaRourke for failing constantly at scheming her.

BillW, Francis_Costello etc.

Come on! Getting a bit forgetful ?? ;)

Report Post Tip
BillW's triumph is dealt with in p2...

I am enjoying your stories, however I have to dispute one of the things you said in here..

"Egwene was targeted (I've forgotten why) and was shot, proving that this was a group capable of killing."

Egwene wasn't killed by an underground group if my memory serves, as I recall reading in my ancestor's journal that he was engaged in a war against the city she was a part of under RoRoG, and she was most definitely alive up until the next day where she was killed by Roman and Prem. Unless you are referring to a different incarnation of the name Egwene, that is...

Report Post Tip

Maybe he is. Or maybe your ancestor was incorrect rather than his?

Report Post Tip

Nope, I'm definitely correct, as was my ancestor.

Also after delving into the history provided by Kuku I can see it was actually a hit placed on Egwene that happened, not her actually being shot (evidenced even further by the fact that Egwene actually spoke in there), so we are both probably talking about the same person and in fact she wasn't shot by them at all, but was at least placed on the hitlist.

Report Post Tip

Well, it's always worth checking assertions carefully. It's nice to shed some truth on the matter.

Perhaps since your line dates back and I'm sure was as highly thought of in influential circles back then as it is now, you can also shine a beacon of light in our dark days on who did put the hit on Roman?

Report Post Tip

This conversation is getting hilarious.

I'm not going to comment on the vast majority of it as people seem to be enjoying it so there's no need to ruin the some of the tales being told with reality but I will add that one of my ancestors was part of Roman's inner circle at that time and Egwene was most certainly killed when Roman took down RoRoG and while there were hits taken out on her at various points they had nothing to do with her death.

Report Post Tip

Well, it, cough, could be that the Plumbers knew about the killing and claimed it as misinformation...

Detroit was 100% accurate though.

The Plumbers randomly wacked a few people too, can't remember the names.  Bonzo took out a Made before he was clipped.

Report Post Tip

I won't argue that the timeline of actions of what happened to Detroit is true however the narrative with which it is presented is predictably self-aggrandizing and smacks of delusions of grandeur. While your ancestor may have been the wormy vessel through which the information made it to Prem at the time make no mistake about it...what got Detroit killed was Iocaste's own stupidity in making provocative remarks concerning one of the most powerful men in this thing of ours at the time to a guy who's family line had already proven themselves to be full of disloyal and distrustful little pukes.

But you're the story teller here and, as I said before, people seem to be enjoying it regardless of the reality or lack there of so I will leave it alone in the future.

Report Post Tip

Totes, my bloodline always did have an uncanny knack of knowing how to fan the flames, so to speak.

This recounting of history is veering away from hyperbole and sticking to the facts, so far as they are remembered.

I'm very open to corrections.

Report Post Tip

You mean your bloodline always did have an uncanny knack for being an ass and pissing people off.

If the plumbers did anything they were a minor annoyance at best. It truly amazes me how you can stroke yourself to seem relevant time after time.
