This day for Vash started like any other. He woke up, brushed his blond hair, and put on his red duster jacket. After a cup of coffee he was out the door and back to business. Maple had been working him like a dog, but he always wanted to make sure she had everything done that was necessary. Vash stopped into the family head quarters then went upstairs to Maple's office. He entered and there she was, behind her desk with a glass of the finest wine in her hand.

"You're late Vash, tsk tsk."

Vash gulped and then smiled while taking a seat.

"Remember what we discussed awhile back? When the time came, and I needed another leader you would have the choice to take it. That time has come, I need a Underboss , so what do you say?"

Vash cleared his throat and brushed his hair back with his hand. 

"Maple it has been a long road, and I have enjoyed being by your side to help build your family. We started in the Suburbs and now here we sit, in The Loop. I would be honoured to do this and help build the foundation to this district and bring it back to its glory days once more. This is a tough decision as I thoroughly enjoy being your right hand, but I will always do what you need."

Maple nodded.

"Then it is done" She said "Do what I know you can do, build a wonderful family, and treat them good. Also please take that satanic robot with you! He creeps me out! One last question, what is your family name going to be?"

Vash smiled, then poured himself a glass of wine.

"Heh, of course the robot will be out of your hair." Vash replied. "The name? Easy, I will name it after my home. Planet Gunsmoke."

Hey Vash glad I was the first one to be able to make it to this great event. Congrats man you'll do well.

Maple lifts her glass of wine and toasts Vash and The Loop.

Totes steps up next to Vash. A waiter offers a glass of wine to Totes who swats it away and proceeds to pull out a flask of Crown Royal from inside of his jacket. After taking a long swig from the flask his eyes Vash from head to toe.

From the time Maple and I had our first discussion about expanding the Loop there was no doubt who was the perfect person to take the reigns of this expansion. You will reflect the values that we try to uphold here in the Loop well. Congratulations, Vash, the district is that much better to have you as a leader in it.

For a long time our bloodlines have been friends, and sir I have the utmost respect for you and your ancestors. I can't think of a better man to help make the loop the amazing district it should be. You will do great things, of this I am certain. Congratulations my old friend!

While it is sad to see you two go this is a move that will strengthen our already intrepid district. Boss Vash, you showed stalwart dedication to your crew and it was an honor to serve under you. I'm eager to see what this next chapter has in store for you and Chicago.

You guys arn't just some friends, yall family and I know that you deserve this because you work so hard this is earned. !! Going to miss you in the family, but I know great things are to result from this decision!
