Pontifex_Caedis rises from his bed, the morning sun shines through his window casting a warm glow across the room. With a smile he walks to his phone and dials the number to one of his many business associates. "Hey there buddy." He says nonchalantly. "It seems today is the big day." He stretches slightly, working out the kinks in his back as he continues speaking. "I know we've been planning this months now and I hope you aren't about to bail on me. A smug smile flashes across his face as he listens to his friend on the other line, he nods casually as he reaches for his pack of Sobranies next to him and lights a smoke, the monoxide slowly fills the room as he nods. "So we are on then...good. I'll meet you at the designated place, you know who to call." Hanging up the phone as he takes a long drag off his smoke, Pontifex proceeds to get dressed, donning his favorite business attire before exiting his Main street apartment. |

After being woken up by his business associate, which might I add, wakes up far too early, he rolls over and sits up on the edge of his bed. Brandon stretches before reaching over to his phone to dial the number of another of his associates, Percy. He lets the phone ring until someone on the other end answers. Rise and shine youngn, its time to earn your stripes, you know what day it is. This is your first big job for us, and I know you do not need me to tell you what happens if you mess this one up. Allowing Percy to respond to his morning greeting, he begins to speak once more. We will be meeting at the bar, yeah, you know what bar I am talking about. Bust out your nicest suit, and those dress shoes you picked up the other day, We are business men, and we shall look the part when we walk in. Meet there in about 30 minutes, and we can get on our way. Brandon hangs up the phone, puts on his nicest suit and tie, and walk out the door meeting up with his personal driver out front. |

"Morning Percy, I'm doing well thank you." He turns to the bartender and orders a round of whiskey shots for the three of them before proceeding in a hushed tone. " As I'm sure Brandon has told you, today is the big day we roll on the Massachusetts State Bank a few miles out of here. I have the necessary equipment, a couple of L.C. smith Shotties in the trucks along with a B.A.R in case the local enforcement decides to get dutiful...not they would if they knew what was good for them considering their own personal investment in stopping what we are about to do. For the most part it should be easy pickings." He turns to Brandon as the bartender places three shots in front of them. |

Brandon grabs his shot and raises it to toast the other 3 to what should be an extremely successful day. I see today going off without a hitch, two men on the inside, one on the out to watch for the local police. Seeing as today we have percy, a newcomer, I think I will send him inside with you Pontifex, and I will be on the outside watching out. Teach him a few things while you are in there. Brandon looks at Percy Now Percy, This man here is the best at what he does, He will show you the way you just have to listen to what he tells you, What he says while you are inside is the law. We do not need any funny business, just business. If this goes off, we will be walking out of there with more money than we know what to do with. Brandon finishes his toast, downs the shot of whiskey and slams the glass onto the table |

Percy grabs his shot and listens again to Brandon. As Brandon explains the plan Percy slowly gets excited for his chance to prove himself. Ahh, yes! I get to go inside, and prove myself! With a quick smirk he looks at Pontifex. Well good sir, I have complete faith in your ability to teach me what you must, and help me get through this experience! Percy quickly downs his shot and then wipes his mouth with his kerchief. Looking between the two of them he asks. So what time is this all supposed to begin? I need a few minutes warning, to calm the jitters! |

Pontifex gulps down his shot smoothly, a complacent grimmace flashes across his face as the liquor courses through his body, he talks through his teeth relishing the rush before the job to come. "Now it seems." He says plainly as he turns to Percy. "You, my dear friend, are to cover the by-standers while I interrogate the bank manager. We need to get out of there in about 3 minutes flat, so I'll be taking off the kid's gloves it comes to handling the poor smuck. If anyone causes a fuss, waste 'em. God knows we're already going to hell, no sense in trying to play saints as far as the job is concerned." He nods his head at the two of them as they place their glasses at the bar. The man wipes his chin with a napkin before he turns to his boss. "If everything goes to plan we should be sitting on around 10,000 dollars after the job, not a bad pay check for three gentlemen if I should say so myself." His head motions towards the door and the three men exit the establishment... After a brief ride in the motor vehicle, Pontifex pulls up to the curb at his destination. A proud smile dons his face as he opens his truck and turns to his associates... |

Arriving to their target location, Brandon steps out of the truck, walking towards the back, where all the equipment is. He looks at the 3 guns, setting his aside, He hands one to Percy, and one to Pontifex. Well guys, Its do or die time, seeing as I will be on the outside, I will not be toting a weapon, no need to draw more attention than we already are, I will keep it close, but not on my person. As the adrenaline starts to pump through his body, he checks his surroundings. The streets are clear, the businesses are empty, and the bank is looking prime. On your mark Pontifex, we will go through the motions, nice and simple, lets get out of here as fast as possible. |

Reaching down into the trunk of the vehicle, Pontifex grabs a shotgun and hands it to Percy who quickly hides it under his London Fog jacket, nodding slowly as he does so. Pontfiex grabs his own shottie as he smiles, casting off his smoke into the curb of the street as he speaks. "If you have to use it, make sure it's at close range...no need to take out anyone that doesn't have their medicine coming to them after all." Percy nods slowly as adrenaline rushes over his body, his shakes stop as the three men make their way up the steps towards the bank. They pause at the entrance as Brandon steps to the side, his eyes watching the passerby's as Pontifex slides him a piece of paper. "My last will and testament...just in case. Please do not read it unless I am no longer with us." He nods at Brandon as he returns a solemn gaze before entering the premises with Percy. As the men enter the building the exuberance of wealth makes itself immediately apparent. Marble columns decorate the foyer as men and women of all backgrounds can be seen going about their business as the day demands, some making deposits, others withdraws. All the same, it means nothing to Percy and Pontifex. The two men walk down the isle, Percy smashes a passerby into the ground as both men draw their guns. Pontifex cocks his head to the side as he points the muzzle of his boom-stick directly at the bank manager's face. "You can be a dead hero or a living coward....open the safe and I'll see to it you get to tuck your children in bed tonight." |

After smashing someone to the ground and pulling his gun Percy yells to the crowd, "Everyone on the ground, hands behind you backs!" Looking around to make sure everyone is laying down he smirks at how quickly they reacted. He says "As long as no resists there will be no problems." "Hey Bud! Lets hurry up over there, you know time is ticking!" He says to Pontifex. Percy then notices someone attempting to pull something out of their coat and walks over and kicks them in the side. "Come on man, I told you if you didn't there wouldn't be any problem." He states before swiftly kicking the man a second time. |

Brandon heres some commotion from inside, but thinks nothing of it. He looks down at his watch, noticing its been exactly one and a half minutes. Muttering under his breath. Man, I hope these guys are about done in there, we dont have much more time to waste.' Turning around he peeks in the window and see's Percy kicking a man in the side, he must not have been cooperating, and Pontifex with his shotgun pointed in the face of a teller. |

The bank manager nods slowly as he reaches for his keys in his pocket, they jingle slightly in his trembling hand as he counts down the ring as fast as he can before procuring the key in question. "Here it is." The man says in a hushed tone as calmly as his spirits can muster. "You're a wise man." Pontifex says as he takes the key. "Feel free to tell the reporters I beat you senseless if it helps when it comes to looking back on today...if it makes you fell any better, as a man in my profession I'd personally think you made the sensible choice had I heard the truth second hand." He leaves the man, hands over his head underneath his desk as he walks over to the safe at a brisk pace. His eyes meander over to Percy in his passing as he nods subconsciously feeling assured that he has a handle on the situation. The key turns smoothly as Pontifex opens the safe revealing rows upon rows of deposit boxes of various shapes and sizes. Without a wasted moment, he makes his way to number 376. The butt of his gun smashes down on the cheap lock coaxing the thin metal door open easily as sheet upon sheet of uncut 20's flutter down on the ground in a small heap, the sight coaxes a sly grin across the criminal's face as he looks over to Percy. "Jackpot....". |

Brandon hears the breaking of a safe, and slowly walks to the vehicle, putting his gun back in the trunk, he leaves it open so they can quickly stash theirs, hops in the driver seat, unlocks the doors, and starts the vehicle. He waits as he sees Pontifex and Percy come running out of the bank with sacks over their shoulders. They both hop in the car, and Brandon takes off. Hell yeah guys, looks like a good take. Lets get back to the headquarters and get all this sorted out. |

As the men arrive at the HQ, Pontifex extinguishes his cigarette in the ash tray as he grabs one of the burlap sacks. The men exit the HQ and proceed in an orderly fashion to the main room, thick smoke hazes about the vicinity as a slight screen from the other men creating the typical business atmosphere. "Pleasure doing business with you boys." Pontifex expresses the sentiment of the evening loudly as he dumps the contents on the coffee table in the middle of the room. A few heads turn along with some approving gazes as one the newly Made Men of the family enters with a bottle of scotch. A toast celebrating the night's events concludes the days work, the remainder of the evening is spent over light hearted discussion revolving around the approaching baseball draft as the morning sun rises on the horizon. |
