| Kuku's Legacy p4: EvilClown, Terrorists, BGs | Started by: Kuku on Feb 23, '14 20:26 |

At the end of p3, we saw Kuku rumbled for a range of nefarious activities, one of which caused a bit of bother for the leader of the crew he was in at the time, EvilClown. EC saw something in Kuku and approached him, suggested that he work for EC in creating a bit of trouble. EC was well organised, well supported, respected, and had a leading role in a group of individuals who became better known as the Unidentified Assailants. The UA at that time were costing the regimes of Roman, Premeir and other huge sums of cash in shot BGs. EC and Kuku got involved in a few activities that, until now, haven’t received much press. Unidentified Assailants (UA) The UA were causing a huge amount of trouble. I cannot claim much of the credit for this, I rarely shot BGs, my role was in publicity. Truth be told, I didn't even know the identity of a lot of the UA and a few of them weren't happy with my involvement. One in particular likes men and women, but doesn't like Kuku. It's sad. Anyway, the UA are talked about here , here and here . The Misruling Godfathers It is necessary at this juncture to discuss the atmosphere at this period in time. Roman and Prem controlled the biggest cities and collection of crews in this thing and seemed unassailable. Prem, especially, was almost universally despised and viewed as being propped up as Roman. Roman called the shots, and call them he did, as will be discussed. Elsewhere, Canucklehead (tiggy) indulged her crazed desire for power in every part of this society she managed to sink her claws. Against this backdrop, seasoned and respected bloodlines had enough and organised against the powers-that-be. The Streets & WhereWasI At this time, people, ranked people, were getting shot for speaking on the Streets, often not out of turn, but the slightest digression was leading to death for many. Against this backdrop, Estebano came to the Streets... His speeches were verbose, patronising and designed to try and get people arguing and shot. They can be seen here, here and here . The third speech listed there led to one of the most amusing incidents ever to emerge from the Streets. WhereWasI, not for the first or last time, verbally tussled with the Kuku bloodline and came off looking a lot worse. I urge people interested in this era to follow this argument as it was a classic of the time. WhereWasI accused Estebano/Kuku of terrorism, Estebano/Kuku pointed out that he was therefore accusing a CL of harbouring a terrorist, WWI had to apologise. And there it would have stayed, except Estebano/Kuku contacted the ever reliable EC and asked for one of WWI's Bodyguards to be shot tuit suite. This was done, and the consequences were hilarious. WWI contacted Estebano and told him to "burn you hell you terrorist piece of shit", thereby starting a feud that Kuku was as easy to prosecute as it was enjoyable. But it wasn't all fun and games... Those that held power at this time didn't want to give it up, that's for damn sure. Limitless, TheJackal, EvilClown, tiggy, The Gods and This Thing. Estebano has arranged a truce with Premeir, Prem gave Estebano a few million and a place in his crew, in exchange for behaving. Kuku found it hard, and there was a disagreement on the Streets over this speech. Prem shot Kuku, Kuku was again an outcast. Just how he liked it. Meanwhile, BGs were still being slaughtered, the CLs and GFs were going nuts trying to find out who was doing it. EC's strategic brilliance included getting Kuku involved so that it seemed he was more involved than he was, thus taking the heat off those who were actually doing it. During this period, I cannot remember a single consistent shooter of BGs being killed. But anyway... Kuku had attained a decent number of supporters and, indeed, imitators by now. So it was that it was easy for him to go incog, and go incog he did, as Limitless, deep inside Las Vegas, at the time the lair of the odious tiggy/Canucklehead. Canucklehead also worked for the Gods. With respect to the sanctity of the Church and City Hall, I will not delve into speculation, but merely stick to facts. Limitless was deep, deep undercover, as was, TheJackal, another operative in the EC/Kuku sponsored cell designed to offer support and assistance to others ready to strike a blow against tiggy and other CLs. Limitless was in the process of being asked very specific questions by tiggy and was shot before any admission of guilt was made, as was TheJackal, for whom EC has vouched. It remains a source of controversy how tiggy knew the true identity of two deep undercover operatives. But she killed them. What followed shows how corrupt and deranged the CLs and GFs of this thing had become. EvilClown was going to be pro'd by Limitless and TheJackal as he struck targets. His gun would be trained for some time, but soon tiggy's beady visage would have been on him. So, his hand forced, EC shot at his targets, valiantly, but unsuccessfully. He died for he believed in. Murder at a funeral, Bans on IRC Avenue: The Lunacy of the Era Two LHM and one high ranking individual (Kev, Ozan and another fellow whose name escapes me) attended EvilClown's funeral and were murdered in their sleep on Roman's orders. Limitless's son visited IRC Avenue where he called tiggy "wretched" and was banned from every tavern indefinitely, a bloodline ban. So it was, in them days. But it was clear: such draconian measures were done out of fear, not out of strength. Retirements became commonplace, loyalty counted for nothing. People flocked to the fledgling underground groups and they grew in strength. The Winter of Discontent was coming, but not for a little while. I will let the final words of a Made member of GF Premeir's crew give a flavour of the times. This acts as the epitaph of a bygone and crazily corrupt era: When long standing and hard working mafiosa are killed over trivial things and statements are made that anything said anywhere can be brought back to your character ... I am joining the retirees rather then continue to support this, which in essence is what I am doing by continuing |

From memory a mail was handed out to the crew i was in Telling us to stay away from the funerals of those executed. I think the 4th fellow you are talking about was TwoFace His execution was ordered by Premier, Our RH at the time tryed in vain to get it lifted by approaching LoveGun Premiers underBoss at the time but Prem refused the request. |

Hades wasn't killed for attending any funerals. My ancestor was his leader and Hades was shot for his admittance in contributing to the BG kills. |

Here's what Roman said at the time (he pretended to interview himself): Many of you noticed after the rogues were gunned down there were a series of executions, demotions, and suicides that raged through my city. Since I can't find a news reporter to interview me about all of this, I have tasked myself with the job.
Roman: Tell me, me, what sparked all of the punishments I have doled out in the last few days?
Roman: That's none of my goddamn business! How I lead Chicago is up to me, and me alone. The people who have a problem with that are going to find themselves in a similar position as Ozan, Tarbh, and Leonidas. |
