His phone was ringing off the hook, something must have been wrong. Upon answering the phone, Brandon was told some rather disturbing news. Brandon jumped out of bed, got ready as fast as he could and called a meeting with the rest of the Chicago leaders.

Apparently, some time this morning, there was a mail sent out to all the upper structures claiming that Pontifex_Caedis was to set up in South Philly under a man by the name of PeterBonanno. This was the first I had heard of this, and to be quite honest, it was not something I wanted to hear. I was never approached by Peter about him wanting to take a member out of my family to set up in South Philly under him. I have a huge problem with this, and I feel that he disrespected me and my family by doing this without permission from myself. This was not the first time Peter had tried something like this, but the second time.

Something had to be done, and it had to be done fast, this could not be allowed to go without some sort of action. The troops were rallied, and everyone's opinion was heard. The decision was a very easy one to make. The disrespect was too great, and the man had to fall.

I am standing here before you, not to impress you, just to fill you in on what has happened and why it has happened. With this said, it is with great sadness that I must say South Philly has fallen for their disrespect towards my family.

Brandon tips his hat to the rather large crowd, and continues on with his day as planned.

Philli Stops his dailey routine to listen to the words of a Chicago Don. When he heard of the attempted theft of a member by another city, His eyebrows rose.

If Peter wanted to tap another city for a new crew leader under him it was up to Peter to reach out to that city and the crew leader he was looking to tap. Not the other way around. Live and learn. Ok...maybe not live but you should learn none the less.

Brandon you and I think along the same lines when it comes to respect.  Gimli and I were just speaking in the speak easy over there regarding this move by Peter.   Neither Gimli or Donnie were a party to discussions of another auth in South Philly much less a made member of Chicago.  Although we all really liked Peter and wanted to work with him this was inevitable rather it was CH guns or those of Philly.

Rest in peace to Peter and the rest of South Philly that have fallen today.  We all wish things would have been different.

Al, as a general rule, the bitch doesn't dole out the bitch-slap.  And from where I'm standing, it looks like South Philly got bitch-slapped, so your allegations do not seem logical.

What was done today was done with full approval of the GF Council, looks like we have a different take on disrespect means than you Al_Zapponi. When I saw the message regarding a CH member being authed in South Philly I was not amused or impressed and those views were shared by the Godfathers.

I know you are all very prideful, and disrespect has fatal repercussions in our line of work, but a lot of good people died today. Too much blood was shed to get your point around, if the GF council had decreed my ex-sponsor was acting out-of-line they should of cut the snake off the head. There would have been very little resistance since all the major powers were united in the decision. 

The question I have, is if they announced they auth through Upper Structure Mails, surely the person from your crew had knowledge of peter's intent. It looks like he hadn't discussed with you at all either. Isn't that just as disrespectful to you and your family?

I don't know about you Tib, but most of the wars and take downs I've seen have a legitimate.  Granted, the reasons behind them may not always make sense to those of us lower down the ranks, but the Crew Leaders and God Fathers usually have good reasons for what they do. I know I haven't always agreed with the wars, and have seen my fore fathers taken down with them, but for one to fight against the decisions of the higher ranks usually end badly. Loyalty is more important than ones opinion on the legitimacy of the fight.

Altic, It was brought to my attention last night, My member did approach me, and a decision was made last night that he was not going over there. Peter never came to me, not before he asked my member or before he decided to send out the mail to the upper structures. As noted, this is the second time he has gone behind my back to take the same man, by approaching him, and not me. It should not be brought to my attention by the person who was asked, it should be brought to my attention by the crewleader before they even speak to my member about it.

Thanks for the reply, I do agree that you should have been spoken to first. In any situation, even when someone is seeking a Hand, CL first then see if the person is on board after you have permissions. In your shoes I would have wanted the exact same outcome. 

I guess your RP just made me think you had no knowledge of it at all until the MM went out. Thanks for clearing that up. 

My words did seem to contradict myself just a little, I had no knowledge of him setting up, I knew he had been approached, and the idea had been shut down before i decided to finally go to bed last night, so waking up this morning to the idea that someone from my family was setting up somewhere else was a shock and complete surprise to me. Hopefully that clears things up a little bit.
 

Good job on the flawless "take down".  Everyone makes mistakes, and he was allowed his once chance.  I completely agree with your actions, and Im glad to see you go through with it.

Donnie was listening to all people and what they had to say then he decided to say few things himself. He gets in front of crowd and clears his troat before speaking.

I felt need to say something because PeterBonanno and his crew were my neighbours here in Philly but last night i had too many drinks and didnt want to approach to all of you like that.

First of all may all those who died last night Rest In Peace its hard to see blood spilled in Philly again but from what i heard i can only say that BrandonHeat did what he had to, Peter did something what he shouldnt. He made decision involving member of other district without talking with his crew leader first and i am sure anyone on Brandons place would do same, I know i would.

After he said what he had on mind Donnie puts his hat on and slowly walks away from crowd.

Ragnar believed Peter deserved a chance. He gave him that just as he had Donnie and Catalyst. Unfortunately, Peter wasn't ready to lead and bad decisions led to his demise. I will not be elaborating on that last statement. Other than what has been told here (and what the elaborate rumor mill stirs up), what happens in Philly stays in Philly.
