Well it seems my name has been kicked around dragged threw the mudd and what not.Im not hear to moan and complain about my fathers death merely shed insight into the inner workings. Some here know me many do not it is what it is My father tried to keep his head down not cause trouble just focus on building his district. He had thought if he stayed away from trouble that maybe it will stay away from him unfortunately it is not so.Perhaps my family is just unlucky. None the less I digress yesterday My father was approached by Ponitfex to set up with him in South Philly. At first he was surprised and taken aback he had his own plans for future auths to come from with in his own family they were not desperate thats for sure as yet another person approached him for set up and this would change things. He thought hard because Pontifex had been a good friend and close ally in the past and there was room for him so he decided to hear him out and after a good sit down(talk via voice chat) My father somewhat reluctantly agreed. Before heading off My father was lured into a false sense of security being told Pontifex got the ok and he was good to send out a mass mail in the morning.(ooc I work long hours and I didn't want my friend shot if he set up while I was away like another person was so I sent out the mass mail before leaving.I checked my mails in the morning to see if perhaps anything may have changed and not a single unread mail so I thought things were still under way.People may say I was to trusting but I had no reason to doubt him a man I once held as a brother.I try to break bread with all that have helped me along the way unfortunately this time it killed me.I never tried to poach Pontifex eathier I asked him way back if he would want to come to be my rhm before I got authed and he stalled me out untill the last minute saying he would ask Brandon because he knew what to say so to speak in the end I sat down with Brandon he said no and we moved on.Forgive my bad grammar and spelling im alil tired had a long day planning to take little break thank you to everyone that helped me and all my loyal crew mates couldn't have done it with out you Im sorry things couldn't have gone better.Lastly Im not here to put blame on anyone else I accept my failure the way I see it things were like the godfather after the death of Santino I was just a bad Don.) |

Tommasino regardless of what Pontifex had told your father it was down to your father to speak with Brandon to make sure he was happy with it. Imagine the boot on the other shoe would your father have been happy to see a mail saying one of your members was going to setup elsewhere without even a conversation? I don't think so. As much as Pontifex may have lied to you ultimately it was down to you being the head of the district to make sure all was well. RIP to your father and may your bloodline learn from his mistake. |

I believe Spunky pretty much hit the nail on the head in saying that 'regardless what Pontifex told your father, it was down to your father to speak with Brandon to make sure he was happy with it.' Thats basically what it comes down to! |

In this place, you can't just take a person's word as solid truth. Especially if it about someone else's feelings. It was in his best interests to have you think that he already had the ok from his crewleader to set up under you. It's already been said, but you should've mailed the his crewleader to check with him that your friend was telling the truth, and had his crewleaders blessing. I don't believe the RHM situation should really have an affect on this situation. If you genuinely did ask his crewleader about him becoming your RH, then you followed the correct protocol. This is quite a common thing nowadays. However, you should've followed the same protocol when dealing with this situation. Never assume anything, it's always best to follow it up. Better safe than sorry. |

You wanted to play in the big leagues. There are certain ways of doing things as a leader. When you make a mistake, you answer for it. My father mentioned in his journal you did something similar with him in Detroit. You were warned then, and told that only because of the bond our lines have shared in the past were you spared. I can see now that it was a mistake. You should've been taught that lesson then. When your in power, everyone wants your ear. Everyone wants to talk to you, and your job is to listen. But, to never act without thinking everything through completely. Your advisers failed you. I hope the next time your line makes a deep run like this towards the top you use this knowledge and act accordingly. I wish you and yours nothing but the best. |

Take it as a lesson learned. People are never who they seem in this game. One moment your best friend could be putting a bullet in your head.
While I still do not think you went about things the right way, should your line ever get a chance at leadership again I daresay they've learned a great lesson from this.
Good luck to you in the future. |

It sad to hear but at the end of the day the only person you can truly trust is yourself in life and then the only person to blame is also yourself. Diplomacy is a tough thing in this thing of ours and the smallest detail overlooked can be as costly as trusting the wrong people. Is a tragedy to lose life over something, but a learning experience for the many who witness it. |

CookieZombie heard everyone talking. Speaking of leadership, speaking of trust, lies and lessons. He has heard all of it before, it's not the first time a conversation like this starts. In the mafia world, it all comes down to trust, doesn't it? He wonders. All what's important here is authority, money, respect and trust. " Speaking freely, that's the mafia world for you, Mr. Bonanno. Seems like your father had some authority in this place, so i wouldn't be too fast in judging him, cause the higher you go in this structure, the more fragile you are. Mistakes happen, but they get punished depending on your ranks. Your father should have been more careful, cause once you got authority, there is no room for mistakes. I would say that your father took some matters of great importance kinda lightly, and that led to this situation. You speak of trust? Trust is something you have to earn. I will not take sides on that matter, since i got little knowledge of what might have happened between your father and Pontifex. If what you say is true, then that man should never have earned your trust to begin with. I'm pretty sure that your bloodline has learned that in a bitter way, so there is nothing else for me to say here." |

I like to keep things simple. Bonanno, the way our fathers did business and their fathers before them tend to rub on us as we have the same tendencies. The way politic was at a certain time back then may not reflect this new day and age in this thing of ours. What I'm trying to say is this: your reasoning, whether justified or not, is YOUR reasoning. Your father had the right to make his own decisions. He was a powerful man. There will always be those who think that the decisions we make are ridiculous or unwise. Wars are started for lesser things. Let's say that the way you see things are the 100% undeniable truth. You still cannot get away from the fact that a large quantity of the Mafioso on our streets have a different outlook, and it was initially THIS, in my opinion of course, that caused the death of your father. I give my deepest condolences for your father. Also, everything I have voiced here was with no disrespect intended. I anticipate seeing you rise up the way your father would want you too. Since you have the best understanding of what thought process he had before he died, and what became of him, you can alter the way you think to assure that you would not meet the same demise. We must adapt. Even if you know you're right about something, its hard to win a war against 50 others who say you're wrong all by yourself. Good luck to you and yours, TommasinoBonanno. |

| What we need to all be doing is stop hating our fellow man and instead start lovin on some of these fine-ass ladies walking around this motherfucker. You see some of these ladies??? God DAMN these ladies are fine. Well, to each their own I understand the feeling of being wronged by another, but that is how the mafia works. I come from a long line of dead people, all murdered before they could get their pimp hands strong. But I don't let it keep a pimp like me down. That's why I keep myself busy by talking to the laides. Look at all these fine-ass CG girls. That's who we should be discussing right now. Not silly stuff. | |
