As you walk by the taco stand buying your tacos you see the new edition of the Capone with SaintTonyCapone and Agent_47 sitting in chairs and so you tell the taco man that you'd take this with your tacos,as you buy them you walk off and read it. When you talk to someone like SaintTonyCapone; leader of "The Saints", one who quotes poetry that reminds its readers of both Guns and Roses and, if rumor is correct, close friend of Hayley: there is a level of respect and requirement of accouterments of the interviewer. When Hayley sponsors such an interview and you represent her in the endeavor, it is a death sentence to NOT deliver at said level. Sparing no expense, as Hayley is paying, we decided to buy a building on Oak Park, here in Hayley's hometown of Chicago, where the jazz age is in full swing and music can be heard all night. The Mason Block building that holds Gilmores was available, pretty in it's cold grey blocks, respectful but strong, beautiful in its own right, like our way of life is. We figured we'd need a place to hold all the future interviews anyway, plus we can always squeeze some protection out of the local theaters; I hear Warrington's and lake theaters are doing well. All told, it sounded like a good idea and it was her money anyways, not mine. We flew SaintTonyCapone up on a private charter, he is a Capo and Crew Leader after all, from his hometown of New Orleans. He was greeted downstairs by my lovely assistant and general need filler, who took his massive coat. It seems he wasn't used to these Chicago winters, being from The Big Easy and all. Agent_47 ::"Alright, well please have a seat". I pointed to the British Colonial Wingback chair that we picked up from an importer. Teak always looked good to me, oiled or not. It reminded me of the wood that covered the ship that brought my family to these shores when I was young, except this chair was well oiled and glowed with the loving care an owner gives such luxuries. Tony takes out a cigar as he sits. SaintTonyCapone ::"Mind if I have a smoke while we talk?" I couldn't tell what kind of stogie he had, but i know that cigars are very expensive. With the advent of automated rolling machines, people started smoking cigarettes instead of finely crafted cigars and the prices skyrocketed as they became hard to find and the makers all went out of business. Agent_47 ::"Sure why not." I liked their smell, what kind are they? I'll have to remember to ask. " How has the sudden rise to fame with your family been?" It always amazed me how fast things change in this business, someone who is entrenched today can be gone overnight. In the same respect, someone can appear overnight and be powerful in a few days. Tony takes a drag from his cigar and smiles quickly. SaintTonyCapone :: "It's been fantastic, I always new in coming over to America I'd have a chance to make something of myself. The way things have turned out, being able to do what I'm doing now, I could have never asked for more." Agent_47 :: "Well then, I can see that this is a big accomplishment for you and your family. What is happening with some of the wise guys and made men in other people's families that are dieing? Do you think this is coincidence?" SaintTonyCapone :: "I'm pretty proud of my family and it's current state yes. Coincidence? I don't think so, things happen within this life of crime. Most times unspoken, it's just part of the life." You could see his pride come out. He had worked hard, as had those he was close to, and they were benefiting from that work. That IS what America is about, isn't it? So I pressed on to new subject matter, taking advantage of his good mood. Agent_47 :: "Ahh, I see. Well, sir, I have another question: is your power being questioned within your family? I went to two of your men's funerals and I saw that you said that *Quote*May your son show more respect, and more loyalty. RIP* Un-Quote* SaintTonyCapone :: "It's never a matter of testing power nor is it anyone's business. The fact of the matter is I've dealt with things every CL deals with, but I pay my respects at funerals, even for those I don't agree with." I liked the way he talked to me, not losing his cool, rather being very matter of fact. He is OK with telling me what is what, or even that it isn't my concern. Agent_47 ::"Do you have any lucky ladies out there?" When I ruffle someones feathers, I always ask a follow up they WANT to answer. SaintTonyCapone :: "Many, everyone needs 10 or so." I couldn't help but chuckle, we are men after all.
