...and Lurch had been feeling the oncoming effects of sickness and knew that he needed to get into his home and rest before coming down with something that would hinder the upcoming heist planned. He went inside and took some tincture and rested and drifted off the melodic sounds of the cars passing by...
...he awoke.
It was much later than he had intended on sleeping and it was then that he realized that today was a day like no other. It would be the day that we would be confronting the ghosts of his past. He walked steadily up the street passing by the local newspaper and glanced over only to realize that today was his birthday. "Big deal" he thought as he briskly walked down the avenue in pursuit of those that held his precious heirloom that was his since birth. The remains of his cold still briskly attacking his sinuses as the lights and action were happening in slow motion. He knew this was his moment.
He approached the gentlemen standing squarely in the agreed meeting place and he approached them with his back straight and chin up and glared deeply into the eyes of the contender. It was then that he felt a strong smack from the left as a man twice his size broadsided his chin. Lurch was stunned. The brawl continued until he stumbled back to his house holding the prized possession he had came for. He walked into the room and saw his family staring at him horrified. He had gotten into one little fight and his mom got scared and said he was movin' with his auntie and his uncle in Bel Air.. Lurch whistled for a cab but when it came near - the license plate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror.. if anything he thought that this cab was rare but he thought, "Nah, forget it - yo, home to Bel Air".
