You went to a store, you found a shirt you like to buy with the price of $97 you went back home you borrowed $50 from your mother and $50 from your father you now have $100 you bought the shirt and had the change of $3 you returned $1 to your mother(50 - 1 = 49) and $1 to your father ( 50 - 1 = 49) now your debt is $49 dollars to your mother and $49 to your father 49 + 49 = 98, 98 + 1 which is left in your hand = 99 now where's the 1 peso to make up the $100? |

subayloco23, you have done your Math wrong. Shirt = $97 Change = $3 $97+$1(mom)+$1(dad)=99+$1(leftover) See what i mean? you did 50-1, but it wouldnt be 50-1 and 50-1. Your not deducting from 100 anymore, your deducting from 97...i win :) |
