An armor-plated limo drives up to a street corner and several bodyguards step out, under the watchful eye of others perched on the rooftops. After checking the area, they motion for Muqtada to exit the vehicle and make his speech. Ladies and Gentlemen, I stand before you today to explain the actions taken tonight. What I was more than willing to leave as a short-lived disagreement to be forgotten has today been settled in dramatic fashion. In good faith, I come to you to explain the events which have resulted in the demise of Mr_MFer, that those involved may not be thought overly cruel or trigger happy. I bring today the grievances which I have personally suffered, though I am sure there are others in the crowd who would like to provide their own rationale. I shall start from the beginning, and try to be brief, but the story is as long as my patience. I'm sure you'll understand I did not rush to judgment in this matter. Some time ago, an other worldly force took hold of one of my bosses. Through no will of his own, carnage shook these streets. The Gods intervened of their own accord, raising the dead, erasing events from history, and setting all things right. Frijj, the Right Hand Man for Mr_MFer, took offense at this resolution and took the matter up privately. He demanded retribution upon my boss for a slight which the Gods had already rectified -- none had been harmed and all was well in the world already. I declined. I considered the matter settled, or at least only one for private conversation. Not a word was spoken about it for another five days. The next thing I hear, is that old Frijj is off on the streets, accosting my family member about the events without any provocation, merely because my friend tried to discuss an entirely unrelated matter. I stepped in; a verbal assault against one of my family members is my business. I said the matter was a private one. Frijj pursued the matter further. I explained that he had best do otherwise, and privately approached Mr_MFer about the matter. He assured me that the matter would be considered settled. I went to sleep slightly annoyed, but glad that the matter was settled once and for all. Or so I thought. I woke up this morning and, contrary to Mr_MFer's assurances, his right hand man had in fact continued to pursue the matter. I verbally chastised an unapologetic Frijj for his clear violation of etiquette, and waited to hear Mr_MFer's explanation for his seemingly rogue RHM's behavior. I contacted Mr_MFer, asking why his RHM would do such a thing, why he would disobey an order to let the matter drop. Mr_MFer's response to my query? Silence. Nothing. For hours on end, nothing. I was shocked. I was being snubbed. He was acting completely contrary to how he acted the night before. I left to eat a meal with my mother, and when I returned to the streets I heard absolutely mind blowing news. Frijj had been promoted. You heard that right. Omerta? Keeping your mouth shut? Respecting the Gods? To hell with them said the RHM Mr_MFer decided to promote. Is that really the behavior you would expect from an RHM? Or the behavior you would expect a leader to foster? I know if my family were in a similar situation, I would be doing quite the opposite and cracking heads over the completely inappropriate behavior. When a leader stands before you, allowing his Right Hand to spit in your face publicly, and allows it to happen repeatedly despite your objections, what else is there to do? Mr_MFer had to be taken down for the dishonor and disrepute he had allowed to be spread across the streets. Muqtada steps down from the podium and looks around. He knows he's not the only person who had been slighted by Frijj publicly, and perhaps someone else wants to tell their side of the story. |

Phantom nods to his fellow family head as he steps up to the podium himself. I too have had a less then stellar experience with the family head in question. Very recently my family began funding a Loan Shop which was and is very close to the hearts of my members. The loan shop is based out of the city of Chicago, the city that I live in. Many anouncements of business ventures were being "unveiled" so to speak, so I too made mine public. Within hours of the announcement myself and my business venture alike were disrespected, slandered, and overshadowed by their own similar business. The perpetrator? Frijj, of course. I attempted to state my announcement thread was not a place for such activity to no avail. Only after speaking with Mr_MFer did I receive a wonderful... Backhanded apology with a request for me to "Go ahead and bash our business in return". As if that was to fix everything. After hearing Don Muqtada's story, I really had to ask myself: What is this exactly? A circus or a business? The choice was clear and Mr_MFer was removed. Phantom takes a step back, lights a smoke, and waits for the rest to speak... |

I know not of any details other than what has been spoken here, but from the facts gathered I'd say you had no other choice. Thank You both for clearing the air on what seemed to be a unaccountable event. Then again, sometimes ignorance is bliss. |

| I agree with the events that have taken place. No RHM should be able to disrespect a family like Frijj had done. Also, Mr_MFer, the CL in charge of Frijj, should not have allowed such obvious disrespect to any other family to come from his own family. It is unfortunate that he had to deal with his subordinate in this fashion, but in this way of life that we all choose to live in, that is how it goes. Disrespecting Dons and CLs should never be tolerated and I am glad that the decsions were made to correct this terrible incorrect action. As the honorable Muqtada had and has stated throughout this conflict, the policy of "OMERTA" should be followed by all in our line of work. Anyone that disagrees with this should look upon the actions that took place and reconsider their position. | |

Just to an address a minor issue here: "Within hours of the announcement myself and my business venture alike were disrespected, slandered, and overshadowed by their own similar business. The perpetrator? Frijj, of course." You don't think that's a bit extreme? Overshadowed I'd agree with, yet I 'overshadowed' you too with the mention of LVBG, yet you aren't here bemoaning me; where's the consistency? I would also like to point out that Frijj returned to where the speech was taking place and offered you and your associates a full, unrequited apology for his actions any offence caused, I've read the transcripts of this many time now and, forgive me if I'm bringing up something which is dead and buried but, I still cannot see how it is backhanded in the slightest. My biggest question of all though Sir Ghost, if you did indeed decide this was backhanded and the whole matter unsavoury and and inappropriate, why did you do nothing yourself, rather than waiting for another Leader to put his neck on the line so you could air your grievances? |

The best policy is to mind your own business and keep your mouth shut. It's the Sicilian way - it's the only way. You did what you had to do. Wither it was old friends you committed to the Salt Lake, our business here comes first. |

Excuse me KingOfOnePercent but allow me to interject. While your advertisement in the grand opening may have been slightly unorthodox it contained little to no disrespect of any kind other than manning up for some competition whereas Mr. Frijj's words were far less appealing. To refresh others memories they went a little something like this:
There he is screaming in the streets about how much DCIAC's shop "SUCKS" to slight it in order to increase revenue for LV. Whereas coming into the thread as a rep from LV, you did not blatantly say that they sucked but that you would be a competitive force for them. Just my two cents, take it or leave it. But seeing as that was not the only instance that had this family exterminated it really probably only added Undead Inc. into the fray, but would not have changed much else. He would have still been brought down. It just cemented us into the position of helping the process along. |

I'd like to point out, POD, that the statement you read out was preceded by "I think it is exactly the sort of place that I should say" and followed by "But I won't because that would be very nasty of me and not very buisness like at all." I personally feel this incident was a joke that has been totally misunderstood, overblown and misconstrued; but that's just my opinion. |

Many people's true feelings are said in jest. It was very unprofessional to be joking as such given the tone of the conversation. Even if it was 100% joke - it was a bad one. Let's not forget that in this business it is generally a good thing not to say things that can be easily misconstrued. It has happened in the past. If offense can be taken, chances are it will. |

-Skorpeon- Intervenes 'Prophet, does his apology mean nothing? Some people say or do stupid things, then they realized it was a mistake. If we killed off everyone for making stupid choices, we would have alot less high rankers. To be frank, I think it comes down to bloodshed. No one has seen bloodshed in months, and as soon as one person fights, everyone wants to jump in. I am not saying the takedown of Mr_MFer was wrong, I am not saying it was right. All I am saying is, it was between Muqtada and Mr_MFer. We have leaders of cities so that we can all attend to our own cities. By you jumping across the board and fighting for a different family, it could have put YOUR city and family in jeopardy. The little things are what we have to think about, we can't always insert ourselves to help friends. Family comes first.' |

Plastician brushes past the dribbling child making sure nothing touched his new coat KingOfOnePercent, no matter what preceeded or followed Frijj's words, they were still his words. An apology cannot be enough to justify Frijj's attitude to Sonic or our family. The way he sarcasticaly ran down our family in Piggeh's speach left lasting memorys in mafiosa accross the world which although he apologised for, that alone cannot undo the damage he did to our reputation. Let me give you an example. Craig Charles. A British cult legend. He had some wild alogations thrown at him in his time all of which have come to nothing. Now although the media and the lagal system have apologised to him. Can you ever watch Red Dwarf without crying a little inside? Plastician grabs a syringe and injects himself so to rid the horrible spout of OOCitus that had just come over him |

There is more than disrespect from Frijj that lead to this. Muqtada approached Mr_Mfer about the situation. He was told that it would be dealt with. Did it stop? No. Not long after Frijj was out in the streets still continuing. Muqtada once again tried to contact Mr_Mfer who met his words with silence. He totally lacked respect towards Muqtada himself by not even replying to him. The next slap in the face I believe was the promotion of Frijj. I think that was what broke the camels back. I mean your member is in the streets showing disrespect and you reward him with a promotion? Excuse me if I am wrong, in my eyes that shows that you condone your members actions. Therefor Muqtada did what he had too and formed a coalition with Phantom-Ghost and others who where done tolerating these actions. As far as the actions in Phantom-Ghosts speech, No matter if he came back an apologized or not, that mixed with his other actions showed that he could not be controlled by his leader. |

| I could not have said it better myself, JimmyTheLionHeart. Frijj's actions alone did not lead to the entire family being eliminated, and should not have necessitated it. Mr_MFer's fumble of the situation was what led to that. | |

Although we have seen a dramatic loss of life, this is how our business go's sadly. When one man suddenly is bigger then the family or can operate outside it's rules it sets a dangerous precedent which is often followed. For those who have lossed a love one crosses himself may the lord take good care of them, and the devil not realise that they're dead till at least an hour after. |

I agree wholeheartedly with Jimmy. I was quite pleased with last night's cohesion of crews to take down not just a family, but the idea of disrespect towards a family figurehead. We are now in this new era where we are no longer co-dependent on peace to make our operations work. Initiatives in several cities that garner income from family-to-family have been started, and that flow of money has given this place a new shine. The bottom line is, Jimmy didn't HAVE to take up this cause, Detroit didn't HAVE to take up this cause, we all WANTED to. We didn't do it for the sake of killing, as you can see from the records, there hadn't been a war in well over a month prior to this, we are like war camels in that regard. You know, I heard everything Frijj said for the past few weeks, and I can't say that his ideas and thoughts were any worse than anyone else has had. However, I can't really see how a justifiable argument can be made with how is case was presented. He acted like an idiot. And for all intents and purposes, it seems the only reason he said things the way he said them, was so he could gather under a blanket during slumber parties, put a flashlight to his face and say, "Look how outrageous I was today!" We are in a VERY accommodating climate right now, we allow for many things to be said with impunity because with the suggestion of things that go against the grain, we grow as a business. In no way was anything Frijj said productive or conducive to our society. This should be a lesson to everyone about the impact of HOW they say things in public. Philosophical debates can get heated sometimes, I know we've personally had scraps with other families before over certain things coughs at Jimmy, but the mutual respect for either side of the argument still existed. When the trust in respect between leaders to have a civil discourse becomes damaged or broken, then our way of life and business transactions becomes jeopardized. We didn't need to go to war, Detroit as a city traditionally doesn't even like war as a recourse despite the dismay of our hitters (who for any family that has hitters knows, is always tough to see them sad when they learn that double knotting your shoelaces isn't a warrable offense). We believed in this though... Strongly. From everything I've seen, Mr. MFer was given every opportunity to intervene and save his family's life, but reneged repeatedly, despite an understanding that he would initially. Which brings up inherent trust issues with the rest of us. If you don't play ball on something as simple as telling a subordinate to pipe down, then how do we see you as a viable option to discuss future joint ventures with? Answer, we didn't, and our participation in the war is a result of that along with the previous item mentioned. Thank you all. |
