| click on jail and it should take you to the city jail, there may or may not be a jailbreak going on, if there is not one you should get a message saying the city jail is currently empty. If there is a JB going on, there will be a long list of people that are currently in jail; there is a button that will be to the right of there name that says Bust Out! , click that button to break the person out of jail. JB's are a great way to help you earn your points that you need to get promoted. If there is not a JB going on in the city that you are in, there may be another JB in another city, you can use the corrections officer in tips to find the city that its in, keep in mind there may not be one going on anywhere... | |

Remember also that it is a skill and takes practice. You may not succeed at first. In fact you may well get thrown in the slammer for your trouble. Don't let that discourage you. Keep on trying and it will come to you. You've got nothing to lose and lots to gain. Here's a few tips: There is a number indicating how many guards are guarding each prisoner. Start of by picking the ones with 0 guards (civilians). They, not surprisingly, will be the easiest. The more successfull Jail Breaks (JBs) you get the more likely you are to succeed on the next attempt. It helps to be on IRC. People will tell you when and where there are jails going on (sometimes, especially if you ask nicely). And if you get thrown in you can ask could someone please bmo (break me out). People who get thrown in (most inmates are offline and there as the result of a police crackdown - see below) are at the bottom of the list. Once you have enough skill to break them out it is a great way to make friends (they get a message in their personals telling them who broke them out). People definately appreciate other people breaking them out, especially if they do it a lot! If you click on jail as mentioned in the previous post and the jail is empty the screen will also incluce a suggestion that you bribe the local police to crackdown (throw everyone in jail). If you have a paypal account you can do this for $1US (which goes to help offset the cost of running this site - this is all free and all this stuff, servers, bandwidth etcetera, costs money, not to mention the time that all these guys put in for free - and there aren't any ads blaring in your face (I actually wouldn't object to some advertising on the site; but it's nice to not have it there too) - so don't bitch about these guys taking your money, you're probably taking a lot more of theirs than they are of yours!) You can also buy crackdowns from other players (you pay them in mafia $$$ and they transfer crackdowns to you that they have paid for already). Just as crimes are easier/harder in different cities so are jailbreaks. Try starting in New Orleans if you can. It's by far the easiest. Hope that helps, /me |

Go to war then click jail, if there is a list of names there it should be something like this: Name Guards Sentense time Then click whereever it says break out, and hope it will work. If it does'nt, you'll probily be thrown in jail and have to wait for someone to bust you out. If there is'nt anyone in jail, you could wait or learn about crackdowns, where they will put people in jail if you bribe a cop. |
