Draven steps out of the Angels HQ and see's Phantom-Ghost happily running up and down the streets. Wondering what he possibly could be celebrating so early in the morning she catches up to him and shakes her head. "Phantom what in the world are you doing at this time in the morning shouldn't you be sleeping?" Draven rubbed her eyes sleepily. "Draven look." Draven looked down and saw that he had just made Don. "Congrats! WOW!! All of you efforts have finally paid off Phantom. I along with all of Chicago are so proud of you. I know that from here only sky is the limit." Draven hugged his neck and smiled as she found herself thinking, "Now go back to sleep." |

As he is taking his morning stroll DJ, enjoying as always the beautifull bird calls, he starts to hear one he doesn't recognize... congratz, congratz, congrrrraatz, congratzzz as he looks around he notices a small crowd has gathered nearby. Ah, they had probably scared whatever was making that noise. Wonder what kind of creature it was though. Oh well. Upon closer examination he realizes that they are congegated around the very same man whose picture adorned the front page of todays Newspaper along with the title "Don of a new age for Chicago!". He draws closer so he can get a better look. Sure enough, that's him, the new day had dawned on a new Don! Wow, what a thrill. To be this close to such a famous man. DJ briefly considered walking up and congratulating the man; but as he looked more closely at the crowd he realized that some of them were journalists. Deciding it best not to draw unneccesary attention to himself in such an environment DJ continues on his way, still somewhat awestruck at having seen the man close up. The pictures didn't do him justice! as he was walking away he pulled out his notebook to make a note to remind himself to send part of that shipment of cuban cigars the boyz dropped off last night as a gift to the man along with a conratulatory note. Never hurts to make friends in high places. As he strolls off into the distance he can be heard quietly muttering a small prayer. Oh heavenly father, thank you for all the blessing that you have bestowed upon us. Please watch over this great man and see that he has a long, prosperous and happy future. May joy and mercy follow him all the days of his life. Amen. |
