Soooooo I downloaded windows 7. Went into it with an open mind. I didn't like vista to much, but hey everyone fucks up from time to time. I've only had it for about an hour, and overall I don't like it. Of course, I can't make up my mind in an hour. Here are some things I like, don't like. Good: More of my drivers work. (Example: My wireless adapter driver was for XP. It didn't work with vista... Although, it does work with Windows 7) IT USES LESS RAM!!!! Almost half as much! Well, not quite. Gah. Anyways, to finish it off. Bad: While I actually liked the overall appeal of vista, I don't like the looks of Windows 7. Alot of the classic toolbars are still missing (You know, File, Edit, view, etc) The bottom bar uses squares instead of rectangles. When you minimize something, it leaves the taskbar.. Kinda.. It hides. I hate that. Navagation is harder. I'll hit you up with more later |
