Game suggestion material? | Started by: Composite on Jan 29, '09 17:54 |
Since I'm new, I thought I'd post a potential suggestion here first. If the community thinks it has merit, I can "formally" move it to the appropriate forum. You know, just test the waters a bit before elevating this to the attention of a developer. Potential suggestion: Bodyguards prices Holy crap, these guys are expensive. Yeah, yeah, I understand the idea behind it--if you aren't rich enough to afford one, then you shouldn't have one (or several). But us poor guys would really like a sense of security, even if it's false security. So, here's what I was thinking: You start with the standard bodyguard pricing scheme. For 1/2 that price, you get a bodyguard that's half the size--perhaps a surly dwarf. For 1/4 that price, you get a bodyguard that's a quarter of the size--perhaps a schoolyard bully between the ages of 10-12 And for and 1/8 of the price, you get a really nervous small pet, like a toy poodle. Thanks in advance for any input you may have on this idea. |

FYI, you can't mask a suggestion as a suggestion for a suggestion.

To be honest, I already employ several surly dwarves, and they take the greatest offense to the idea that they should be paid less due to their stature. I am sure you will see them in court. |

No need to get all "legal." I'm talking non-union dwarves of course!
