Overall Idea

Well the fucking Hunger Games of course! Every district sends up tributes and they fight until 1 is left. Now I understand this would be hard to code! But, it would be extremely fun for everyone! Now there will be a lot covered in the article so bare with me!

Getting your name in the drawing

Everyone will have their name put in the drawing once. EVERYONE, except crew leaders will have their name in the drawing! I think it would just stupid to lose crew leaders in an event like this! You could get extra money.. but you name would be but into the drawing for every extra 250k they got. Now this money CANNOT be put into credits until after the drawing. I think many people would get tons of money, then buy credits and not care if they died. This would eliminate this from happening. After the reaping(drawing) is done then the players can use the money any way they please. Now if you can live to be 100 days then your name will no longer be entered into the drawing.

The reaping itself

Now the drawing will take all the names, and addition entries, of all mobsters over 7 days old. Then put them into a random machine that one pick 1 tribute from every district. Then it would announce them in the News&Announcements section. It would tell us who will be in the Games 24 hours before they happen. If you can't be online well sucks to be you! There will be no way out of the games! Now unless someone FROM YOUR DISTRICT volunteered to take your place. If this happens then it will be their life instead of yours. 

How often will this happen?

I don't think they should happen too often. I believe once ever 4 months would be reasonable.. 3 Hunger Games every year. Possibly once every 6 months, and have then only happen twice a year. This part would really all be up to the admins though. As well as other suggestions from other players.

How will they work?

There will be 8 made up districts they the tributes can travel into. The travel times will be 20 minutes. Now when your come into the arena you will have a choice.. Run to the center or not. If you choose to run to middle then you can get better weapons and have a better chance of survival.

For those who choose to run to the middle.

You will be paired with another tribute who has run to the middle. You both now have a choice to make.. 

1. Avoid 

2. Grab weapon and run 

3. Grab weapon and fight

​Now if either player chooses to fight than combat will be initiated. Gun skill does not for combat inside the arena. Our Physique skill will be used for combat here. If neither player chooses this than they will choose a district to run into.

For those who choose to not run to the middle.

You will have a 2 choices..

1.Grab bag

2. Run!

If you choose to grab a bag, in the chance that a odd number of players have went into the middle then you will fight one. If there is an even number than you have a 50% chance of a weapon being in the bag. If you do not have a weapon than you will be a HUGE disadvantage!

Weapons

The weapons will add 20% to your Physique skill. Greatly adding to your combat skill! Now there will be 2 guns in the middle, if your one of the 2 players that get one of them then you get to use your gun skill. With the gun, you may kill players in other regions. But, if you are in combat with a player in your district then it will come down to your physique skill.

Ending

The games will not end until there is 1 person left alive inside the arena.

While in the arena

While you are in the arena there will be ABSOLUTELY NO outside communication. Everyone who is not in the arena can watch the games, and monintor them from IRC. 

Now for the winner!!

I believe for the one person who survives shall receive 100 credits!! Considering this will only happen a few times a year, it shouldn't bring too much extra money into the game. As well as giving them a bonus to defense and a +100 to their gun! It will be the most dangerous thing in the game besides war.. I think it should have a huge payoff!

Yeah... No.

If you want to play Hunger Games, go find a Hunger Games site. I know I would quit MR if they ever forced me to potentially lose my character for something like this. Especially when I'm not on 24/7 so I would surely die from being offline taking care of my real life duties. At the end of the day though, this is a mafia game... and this has NOTHING to do with the mafia.

No. I mean, the idea is interesting, but this is still a mafia game and plus we already have VDay as the big event.

That's true Nello.. but there is no real danger in Vday. This could even turn into a once a year event. I think it would be fun

Nobody wants real danger outside the wars. Because that's what wars are for.

Now Mr.Nello I mean no disrespect by this but, I want real danger outside of wars! I think it would be great to have events that kill small amounts of people rather than Huge wars that kill off entire areas of our great country!

I don't know it's just my personal opinion, I'm not sure if many or anyone shares this with me but if not then it can be my own that is fine.

If you want real danger outside of wars, just do something stupid. I know you've put thought into this idea - but I agree with the other posters.

Ahh but Phabulis, doing something stupid.. we have enough of that around here already! While doing stupid things result with one end.. death. I have no intentions on this happening, but I do understand this is mainly an unwanted feature. 

Not a fan of this sorry but If you want excitement and death why didn't you apply for Black Bottom Crewleader when the competition was open. That was full of blood shed and at the end you would got prize of the city if you was successful.

I considered it Gimli but by the time I was made and had enough funding there were already 4 established crews. I've been in competitions before and most of the time they ended the way this one ended. With everyone dieing and the comp being shut down. Even if there was another one now, I already have other plans for myself other than dieing in a comp.
