Denver leans back in the back seat of a black sedan and stares wearily at the roof of the vehicle, lost in a sea of thoughts as he replayed that nights events in his head. "Chicago's longest night", he thought to himself as the car rolled along the streets of Chicago toward the busiest part of the city where he felt he would make his speech introducing the newest family. Sliding out of the car, Denver glances at the crowds of confused and worried Mafioso and he breaks into half a smile. Hopping onto the nearest bench, he takes another look at the crowd and begins to speak softly at first, but gaining strength with every word that he utters. Out of the ashes, a new dawn will rise. This is what I was always taught by those who matter to me and I'll be damned if it doesn't hold true in 9 cases out of 10. It is with this frame of mind that I am here today to introduce to you the new dawn in the Windy City, with the creation of The City Crawlers. As a seperate establishment from Hayley's Fallen Angels, we intend on working with her and the other Chicago families to rebuild this devastated city and rise above of the carnage that took place over the last several hours. I do not feel obliged to explain to you how this turn of events came about, where myself and one other became bold to assist in the war effort. However, I will humour those who have questioned my own legitimacy. With the demise of DravenLynn, who had barely began her leading experience, Phantom-Ghost and I discussed the possibility of setting myself up for one reason or another that I do not feel is relevant here. Needless to say, Phantom-Ghost decided that it was a good move for me to don a bold suit short term with a view to staying on after the war if Hayley agreed. A family born in war time is never seen as legitimate a family as one that is established outside of war. The fact of the matter is that the legitimacy of this family should never be in question, and I put it to those doubters that if the individuals running the city decide to set me up in their city, then how can these doubters conclude that the family involved is illegitimate? Moving on from this, I hope to grab this opportunity with both hands and I look forward to working with the other leaders of Chicago. |

Hrm... I wonder what he meant... "Crawl" - is that b/c he is so short? Perhaps its his wolf genes. "My City" - Yeah, thats the ticket. "On Your Knees" - I guess he has that "Divine" feeling. WELL In conclusion, I plan to stay out of Chicago b/c I have lumbago and getting down on my knees is too hard on the old bones. |

After watching nearly his whole life burn down around him, Cypher slowly trudges down the street to see his new Boss, Denver, having a little talk with the public. After hearing his words and before his Bodyguards swarm around him, Cypher manages to reach out and shake his hand with him. Thank you sir. It will be an honor to work alongside you. |

My appreciation to all of those who congratulated me. And my condolences to those who believed I was referring to Chicago considering my name is in fact also a city, which makes more sense in the context of the title. You see it how you want to see it I guess. |
