| ANOTHER Detroit Addition?! | Started by: Marietta on Feb 05, '09 23:29 |
|
Marietta stumbles onto the streets, finding a group of bright faced mobsters. Oh hello! she calls, grinning, and grasps onto the shoulders of the nearest man. Now listen to me boy, and listen to me good. Spread the word. We're Rioting. Yes, that's right. The Riot is actually going to do something that is going to cause an uproar. I know, right? But guess what? We're not doing it alone. I know this is a little nontraditional, but I have had a private meeting with Hayley, leader of the Fallen Angels and Don of Chicago. Much wine was consumed, but let me tell you that does not impact the seriousness of this decision. Hayley, and subsequently her family, have always been a strong, faithful ally and business partners to my own business, The Riot!, and as well as to Detroit. In fact, if you search the woman's roots, you will even find that the woman was once one of my very esteemed Detroit associates. After some careful brainstorming, and looooots more wine and talking, we decided maybe a merger of our businesses was in order. No, we're not getting married. Women can't get married, silly! Marietta laughs and coughs quickly to stifle the sound. She stares bleary eyed at the crowd before continuing. What we have decided to do is to see a little Fallen Angels and The Riot! smashed together. Kind of like, Fallen Riot!. Or The Angels. I'll make this short and sweet. Hayley is packing up her bags, and her family, and is moving her business to Detroit. And no, I am not 'shitting' you. Congratulations, Hayley. I am extremely excited at this decision, and I cannot wait to see what us girls can do with the city together. Everyone, welcome Hayley and The Fallen Angels to Detroit. Marietta applauds enthusiastically. She wonders how many people will think she's lying. Oh well, she can always shoot people when she's sober. |

Somethings I'll never understand, like a city sits empty as they move MORE people into the already congested metropolis of Detroit. Either way it's none of my personal business, so I wish you all the best in your endeavors. Viazzi. |

I would say "congratulations" is perhaps the incorrect salutation in this context. Does the move from City Leader to one of three Crew Leaders in a city warrant congratulations? In the most logical and impartial sense, it does seem like a step down - but of course there is always more to a situation that meets the eye. That is true in any walk of life, and especially in the mob. Nevertheless, messages of well wishing, to be sure, are in order; as are our hopes that Hayley and her brethren excel in their new endeavours. |

What an interesting development. I came out to see what allthe hubbub was and it was 16 moving trucks and a caravan of mobsters picking up and moving to Detroit from Chicago. What a site it is. Watches as the moving vans travel through the snow and waves. Now Chicago will seem so empty when I come to visit. Now, Detroit on the other hand. Well, Detroit is getting so crowded. I don't think you're even allowed to live in Detroit unless you own a bold suit. It's kind of an exclusive spot these days. But, like I said, an interesting development. A curious curious move. And I have to say, I like it. But I'm curious to understand this move... scratches his head Is this a move because, perhaps, Hayley needs a little closer supervision? The move just seems more lateral than up. And it certainly may have the effect of blocking further 'expansion' of Hayley's power. Dunno. Just watching the show. And 16 moving trucks and a caravan of gangsters is likely to create a few questions. |
