I have an idea of having freelance hitmen in place. They name the price depending on the target and they do not need authorisation to wack, because they work as independent contractors.

For every action, there is a reaction... so if taking on "bounty" kills then you'll likely find yourself dead.

It's an exciting concept. Impossible though for the simple reason that a WS always goes out. Nobody dies without a WS request going out. There was a suggestion at one point to add a feature to let a shooter offer hushmoney automatically to the witness. It didn't pass. There really isn't a point to 'bounty killing' when it's this hard to bury a witness statement. Most bounties aren't worth a good hitter's life.

could we not implement it for a week or something see how much it is used and go from there? perhaps a poll of people that would like it introduced?

problem is TTD, that unless there are some specific kills in that time, It would be difficult, maybe even impossible to get a gauge on how muich people would use it. especcially sice no one would or should bother on MIAs/durdens, and CAs still kill you back

Having re-read it, I'd be in favor of this option if People are willing to take a look. It was originally put up during the run of the PC, at which point a lot of good ideas were shot down without actual public opinion ever being tapped.

That comment about the PC isn't entirely accurate. There was plenty of good ideas given thought to, and others that were bad ideas given thought to. Still, your entitled to your own opinion on it, I'm just giving my view as someone that was part of the PC.

Nothin' against you 'bama. you and i saw eye to eye on many of those same options. And yes, quite a few good ideas went through. but to me, I found that more then a few good ones were shot down by persistant attacks on the debaters, rather then on the arguments, by a select group of the PC who shall remain nameless.
