Cherry looks around the half-empty streets, chewing thoughtfully on a gummy bear.

But on the slim offchance that there is, I figured it made sense to make an appearance, regardless of my hectic schedule, and address these "individuals".

First things first. My name has been used both publically and on the suit of a man now deceased. While a small part of me feels honoured to have achieved notoriety before I've even become Made, another wonders...why?

I can't be sure of the answer. But what I do know is this: the Band of the Hawk - based in Detroit, not New York as seems to be the assumption - took in a new recruit. He was alright; or so we thought. However, as time went on, it transpired that this individual was sending threatening mails to mobsters throughout our world. These were unprovoked, and as such were reported to both myself and my esteemed leader, Femto. As I'm sure anyone worth their salt will agree, we do not look kindly upon threats of any kind, but particularly not when they taint the image of our family.

While I did not personally kill this individual, it was me who stated that he should be killed. My reason? Simple. I don't tolerate anyone, who has gained entry into our family on good faith, marching around these parts spouting threats and making a mockery of this thing of ours when they've barely been here five minutes. If that is what I'm to be known for - targeted for - then so be it. 

As it goes, my bodyguards have been shot at. I wasn't entirely surprised. Nor was I especially troubled. But what bothers me is this: if you're going to come to these parts with some sort of vendetta, at least make it one worth the effort. You come into our crew, fuck things up for a day, and you get killed. What else did you expect? You made an idiot of yourself then, and what's more, you made an idiot of yourself today - you were brought down by the Powers That Be because you can't even pursue a vendetta without fucking that up too.

Las Angelinas - whoever you are, if you exist at all - let it be known that I don't care if a horde of you come chasing after me with loaded guns. If there's one thing my blood have learned from this place, it's that death comes to us all in the end and I have no fear of that. Meanwhile, I do have much more pressing issues at hand, so I think I've spent enough time talking to entities that may or may not exist. 

We have a city to run. Come if you will, but be warned, if you're aiming for me, you're aiming for a considerable army.

Genocide is out taking his morning walk in the streets listening to the hustle and bustle, He hears a very distinct voice cut through the crowed.

he identifies the voice as Black cherry and step's in to listen. Genocide  unfastens the clips on the sides of his gasmask and pulls it slightly open to let a little fresh air in, careful not to reveal his face. He listens carefully to the words spoken by black cherry and the exchange between the onlookers. he hears the crowed being told to jog on and raises an eyebrow. Space to the pole retaliates with wise words, blunt and straight to the point. genocide smiles, he clips his gasmask shut and begins to walk out of the crowed. Passing by space to the pole he pats him on the shoulder and nod's his head in agreement with what he has said. Genocide continues to walk down the street and merges into the crowed.

 You felt like that yes, because you read the text wrong and just basically took out of it what you wanted. The thread actually posed a notice that anybody who wants to join The Band Of The Hawk should show commitment instead of just trying to join a family and muck around just for shits and giggles. Black Cherry then went on to explain how she isn't threatened by lowly thugs speaking about her on the streets which were her own words and she is entitled to them.

As the Right Hand Man to a Godfather in the city of New York I certaintly wouldn't come out to the streets and walk up to the RHM of another city/district or anyplace and call what they're saying pathetic in any shape or form. So I believe that coming out here and disrespecting another RHM is a wrong doing on your part. I certaintly wouldn't tip you for what you have said at all and to brag that others have is sickening. No wonder the streets are dying.

We are all entitled to our opinions but we forget that here we speak in public and show an image of ourselves to other districts, cities and the rest of the world. Think about what your saying, if you have something to say actually explain yourself and don't just throw in smart remarks.

JulioMartinez watches the conversation unfold. He shifts his weight from foot to foot as if nervous. He considers putting his views across but decides against. "Why waste your breath..." he thinks to himself.

He smirks to himself as Yajirobe speaks, lecturing space-to-the-pole about thinking about what he is saying.

It strikes him as odd because for all the mentions of streets dying Yajirobe is babbling strange things about text & threads.

"No wonder the streets are dying..." Julio mutters before turning away.

Mako raises his nose and his eyes as he sees the commotion.

"Dirty laundry in the air... I smell that shit. Who the fuck is airing dirty laundry in these sweet sweet city?"

He looks around and notices the small group, instantly forming a face of disgust. The Illuminati was watching.... always watching. Mako could feel the eyes on him as he avoided the nonsense.

"Julio, before you turn away to go enjoy your daily sub-sausage. The streets aren't dead because of commotion or some disagreements. In fact, it's disagreements that set the streets on fire. And the streets aren't 'dying' at all. Perhaps instead of complaining, you can add something structured to them? Or would that be too much hard work for you?"

Mako gives a smirk before breaking off into a smile. Then he pulls out a cigarette and begins to tap it against the box he was holding.

"I see no threats here.... the true enemies hide in the shadows. They say that the Illuminati is peeking out its ugly head from the depths of hell... Fuck Las Angelians, we have bigger problems to worry about! Those with the true eye, yes... They're always watching."

Mako sat down Indian style on the sidewalk and kept tapping the cigarette against his box while the cars drove along like he didn't even exist.

Ever the dutiful housewife, Cherry whips a roll of foil from her Magical Many-pocketed Overcoat and wraps it around her head while shiftily glancing at the sky. 

Paha, I'd like to see them try and read my mind now! Everybody knows a tin foil hat protects you from everything. Plus...

She produces a small, gold clasp mirror, flicking it open and gazing at herself with utter admiration.
