a young man dress in a new cheap but clean suit shakes as he begans to speak for the first time, he is hoping that his accent does not hender the message, the words he speaks My friends please hear me! I have no power, I only have my words and this suit. My DON has allowed me to work in these streets. I do not want trouble nor pity; I will survive just fine. What i want to say is this. clears his throat. Peace is needed now over these troubling times. Wars and rumors of wars, young and old dying. Peace is needed now I say. The losses are horrendous, friends gone, love ones gone, brother against brother, sister against sister. I say now let the healing began. I came to these shores because my cousin offent told me in his many letters of the prosperity that flowed here like milk and honey here in these streets. So I worked and save and when my friends from the old country said yes go to the America i went. When i arrived i found death, I did not come here to find him dead and the family he loved no more but that was the case. Rebuilding, healing, bonding and yes peace is needed now. War is not new and people die for various reason. War is needed to bring forth new life and faster growth. I understood this then in the old country I believe that then and I believe it now. Growth must take place; let that be the bell of peace. let that is the olive branch of peace. he looks at the men of power hoping that they find value in what he said. hoping that peace willbe restored to so many cities. |

*Fu walked by the funny looking youngster who was ranting on about the need for peace and massive bouts of hand holding. "AHA! this youngster seems to be talking about how all this strife is causing serious population issues and how its probobly a plot by those who advocate population control...." Funny enough, in the recent days of strife, we have had a much higher active population in the seven sister cities. Perhaps I should give him the name of my eye doctor. |
