ok so recently i have had a issue with someone shooting my BG's so the questions is, why isnt their WS's for shooting BG's when there is WS's for shooting (MIA's, RIA's,Durdens And Players) why not provide a WS for the shooting of BG's

example: you travel the streets with a entourage of 210 BG's someone shoots 10 of them and none of the other 200 BG's see anything to help you out let alone no-one hears the gun going off 10 times?

if i remember correctly there used to be WS's for shooting BG's if im wrong i apologize i just feel that it should be the same as anything you can aim a gun at

im sorry but i fail to see how we have all the tools to find them, and how given my example not one BG out of the 200 that were present witness the shooting. small guy's can: kill durdens, mia's, ria's, target ranges,shoot forts, and shoot bg's however the only ones that dont produce ws's are the ones where the person basically murders a BG and the one where he shoots at basically a wall. how does murder not present a WS? there is no logic to this

As much as these bg shooters do hurt, i think its a part of the game that needs to exsist. There are measures that you can take, effect measures at that. You can start a BA link of rolling 60 sec lists.This way there could be a good chance that you might have an example of a 60 sec list when a shot was taken.

 Remove all ca's people you can see in locals to narrow down your suspect list, potentially you can remove all earners and below (they need perm auth to bg shoot) and then come up with a comman name(s) and find out what answer set they're on. Like Squishy said, its a lot of hard work but if they worry us that much then this is the proactive appraoch we need to take. Giving ws for bg shots is not.

Also your idea of other bgs seeing, from a RP persepective, the whole bg system doesnt work anyway, who would walk around with "200 bgs"? but if you wanted to do it from a RP, these bg shooters would be more compared to snipers, they would shoot form hundreds of yeards away, they're trained to kill and not be seen. etc etc.

if we the approach it from a sniper type perspective and were paying bg's to protect us why dont they react? each bg should essentially be a NPC and npc's do allow a WB if i remember correctly

Like i said the rp doesnt really work with bgs, i used that example at as a point of reference. Yes they can, but if they are below earner, they will need bg auth to shoot alive bgs, if you grant it and they shoot a bg that crew leader will be notified.

So potentially if you've got an honest cl they will know right away, that their member has shot a bg of another account. So thats why i said it would be safe to assume you could remove earners, you'd be surprised how quickly you can narrow down a list. We've done it before and been successful with it. But its up to each cl/gf/ district and city to manage it, not a hard codde solution, like bg ws.

The power to find the shooter is available to you, we don't need the gods to make it simpler. Having things like this to work on is something you should actually relish as it allows the family to work together with a goal in mind.
