It’s morning again, and a day of crime is ahead of you. . . Why do we do this shit all over!? Why! So the Boss can take his share and leave you to die when it all goes wrong?

My name is AdmiralAckbar and I would like to talk about what keeps you so tied up within this thing of ours. Why do we spend our lives running, stealing…and even killing! Me personally? I do it for the thrill and was raised without any toys, any friends. I didn't have anything really.

Now? Now I have it all!  Money, people around me, RESPECT! So tell me, what got you in this place? And what’s keeping you around?

Admiral lights his cigarette and sips his morning coffee. . .

Chun-Li sips her morning coffee as she looks out the window at the beautiful sunny spring morning..thinking about the day ahead, she briefly contemplates how much easier her life has become..it was difficult at first, but you quickly get used to the pull of easy money and the thrill of it all is just over the top..time to start another day...

Well, I am the undead... so I am spending my afterlife doing so.

Melis strolled out into the streets. Listening to AdmiralAckbar she grinned at the topic. She had often asked herself this a thousand times over.

This is interesting. My bloodline has often asked itself this question. I think a large part that keeps me around is friends, and friends of my ancestors. Without these people the drug deals would get boring as would any job. People often keep things interesting while going about daily tasks.

I personally had hoped I would get to see changes. I know they do not come around often but I always have a hope that something will change. Something will happen and things will change. That hope keeps my line returning to this community of ours.

Melis pauses for a moment before continuing. Her mind lost in thought for a second.

Then there are the leaders that make this thing worth it. The ones that don't just take their cut and shrug off their members. The ones that put so much into their families that it really feels like a family. One worth being in. Those are the leaders to keep sticking around for. They don't make you feel bad about your efforts and truly are grateful for the tributes or ideas their members come up with.

All of this is worth sticking around for. Don't get me wrong though there will always be time you want to toss in the towel and remove yourself from this community. For whatever reasons those may be it helps to remember what keeps you here.

Having said her piece of mind Melis moves off to the side.

Bacon. Definitely bacon. It seems that the more I stay, the more people tend to give me bacon. I loooove it ! 

My reasons for being here are quite simple, long ago Sil's father stuck by my grandfather until his death.  I am repaying a debt hopefully making him as successful as my grandfather was one day.

Do i have other reasons?

Well my stock market loves the increase it gets of dice, so for my future lines will have a pile of gold waiting for them when the time comes helps.  Plus i enjoy trying to teach people how to get more out of society.   I don't get the same buzz or thrill out of the life, but is nice to have some influence on those who one day will hopefully get a chance to create our future.

what else is in it for me? I suppose it still always gives me a smile when people i haven't done anything to cry to others about what my line is capable of as they dig themselves into a deeper hole due to their habitual treachery.

The reason (the initial at least), I am doing this thing of ours is not to get power or for the money, (even though the money is a great bonus), but because ever since my mother left us for these shores I have wanted to walk in her shoes. 
I have wanted to honor her by doing my best. She was loved by her family and friends around these shores and my goal is to be loved like her and do right by her name. 
And even though this was my initial reason, my reasons to continue this thing of ours is simply that I love to be here. I love to see the people I see every day and I love meeting new people. 
Even when it gets hot and a war breaks out I like being at these shores. There is nothing better than the thrill of the waiting in the car, while the others are inside doing the OC. The wonder if they got away with the money or not... The thrill of getting chased by the cops while you are driving the getaway car. 
The thrill of opening the bag and see how much money the gang got away with. 

This is my very simple reason(s) of why I am doing this small thing of ours. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I love the danger zone. Whether I'm on the highway to it, or right in the thick of it, I just love the God damn danger zone.

What's keeping me? Well, being alive is keeping me here and well, I got this fucking itch. It's just like, I can't help but to knock over stores and slinging dope, it's just..well.. c'est la vie or whatever the fuck it is. 

He'd give a bit of a shrug as he looked to the others, hearing their remarks and take on the whole perspective of life and the way of things. 

Regardless of what keeps us here.. We're all here because we enjoy this thing of ours and who we spend it with. So keep on keepin' on and everyone else will too!

Well its the only thing I know that I'm qualified for I can't really do anything else plus I'm good at what I do.  I got a record so If I try to get a regular job like the average Joe I'm out of luck and a 9 to 5 sounds boring. There's a depression going on and this is the only way to get those dollars and bring home the bacon.
