Miss Rossi steps onto the streets, shuffling over to almost the same exact place she stood the night before. Last night she had felt much different however; none of the joy and excitement was visible about her, and all that remained left was worry and sadness etched into her face. Noticing a group of men and women nearby she approached them, searching their faces for familiarity. Confirming that they were, indeed, mobsters and not some common street urchins she opened her mouth, took a deep breath and began to speak. I have some slightly upsetting news that I need passed around immediately, if you please. The men and women gathered around her, nodding and staring patiently at the blonde. For the past twenty-four hours we have worked intensively with the Fallen Angels to try and make sure they stayed safe during this most chaotic of times. In that period, however, and after much discussion with the woman, I've come to realize that Hayley is no longer happy with all that had happened to her and within the city of Chicago. Marietta pauses, shaking her head sadly, before glancing at the crowd once more and continuing. When a person is taken advantage of by those she trusts the most, they lose a lot of perspective and drive for This Thing of Ours, as I'm sure many of you know all too well. It is a sad occurrence that it happened to this lady that I have always considered to be of the highest grace and honors. My heart goes out to her, but I hope that in her grief she will find some comfort in knowing that her family will be watched over. For those of you who do not understand, I am stating quite clearly that Hayley will be stepping down as the leader for the Fallen Angels. Stopping once more she lowers her eyes to the ground, taking a moment of silence to recollect her thoughts. That being said, Hayley will be stepping down from her post as crewleader for the Angels, and her Right Hand Man Nicky will be inheriting the family. They will remain in Detroit with us, so that we can continue to see to the safety of these men and women during this period of transition. Welcome, Nicky, to the ranks of the Detroit bolds. I have every faith that you will do well to fill the gap that Hayley is leaving behind. To Detroit-ians and citizens of the underworld everywhere, I ask that you be patient while we conduct this transition. Thank you in advance for your understanding. Her mouth works, speechless, and without another word the woman turns on her heel and walks back down the street with her head bent low. |

Aftershock wipes away a few tears. I hope the Fallen Angels live on and Hayley is prosperous where ever she goes. |
