"No.. NO! I WANT TO GO TO SLEEP! I HAVE BEEN WORKING ALL DAY!"
As the sound of frantic yelling grew louder, a man gently pushed an irritated Angel on a nearby sofa and opened a bottle of champagne, nearly hitting a new vase that was recently purchased to decorate the new warehouse Angel had purchased. Shoving a glass in her general direction, he begins to speak.
"Oh now, look at you. The first day in office, and you're a Don? You don't come across this every day. A celebration is in order. Plus, I'm not exactly a town crier - THIS IS HOW MUCH I CARE FOR YOU."
Done with his small rant, Vicodin makes his way down the stairs and through the large doors of the warehouse he was based out of, standing on the side of a nearby boulevard that was perfect for those timely soapbox moments..
"With the opening of new homes in this wonderful city, I am honored to announce Angel as the second Don of Los Angeles! I know you'll do this city proud - and I'm grateful for the amount of trust you've rested on my shoulders."
Staring up at the window connected to the room Angel was residing in, Vicodin gestured both hands to his chest before aiming them at the window. Seeing back to eye level, the man darts across the street, back into the warehouse after realizing his prescription bottle had run empty. |
