It was a glowing afternoon in New Orleans, the streets crowded with people and the smell of crawfish in the air all overshadowing the "real" business I had come to N'Orleans to do, drugs. And after making quite a bit of profit on them for my family I was prepared to go back to Detroit when I had recieved a message from a man named PeterHomicide. "Are you able to fly right now?" the message said, so I quickly replied... "Yes, but why?" His answer threw me off guard at first, but I eventually decided it wouldn't be a bad idea, why not? apparently he wanted to pick my pocket, and then he counter-offered that we pick each others pockets and give every cent back to each other after we were done. So I agreed to his proposal and flew to L. A. to meet him in person. Though the "only pick a pocket once an hour" rule spoiled our fun that didn't stop us from having an interesting conversation. We talked, and talked, and talked some more until we got bored. At one point of the conversation we were discussing how many petty crimes it took to obtain a gun, being fairly new to the community I had thought it only took 50 petty crimes to get one, but corrected me by saying... "I just talked to a frend of mine, it takes 80 pettys" It was a message I didn't give much thought at the time, but I would soon find this to be a key element in a chain of mysteries that was to unfold before mt eyes the very next day. After finishing my talk with Peter it was finally time to head back to Detroit and call it a day, I had done alot for the family already and it was getting late, so I took my plane back to my home town and rested untill morning. So after a good night sleep and completion of the usual morning ritual you could only imagine my surprise when I got a message from the Godfather of Detroit himself.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To: PhantomSavage From: Marietta Sent: Feb 07, '09 12:06 Subject: #Mass Mailing: Witness Statements Needed ***Mass Mail*** Hey there Detroit! Yes, now that I have the power to correspond with you all at once, have every faith that I will do so once a day. Yay. Now, onto more serious matters. We are looking for the witness statements on two of Hayley's Fallen Angels, which were to be transferred over to Nicky's crew. Pheobe_Renee` and PeterHomicide are the two unfortunate victims. If you have any information on these deaths, please contact me straight away. Thank you, Marietta -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While I was sleeping on a cozy bed in Detroit, Peter was sleeping with the fishes in L. A. My first thought was "Maybe peter picked the pocket of someone a little out of his league" but then I remembered what he had said to me the previous day... "I just talked to a frend of mine..." A friend of mine? could this friend be the other victim? Pheobe_Renee? If only I would have stayed in L. A. I might have witnessed it, but I wasn't. If Peter was the only death then it would seem that is was just another hoodlum who was celebrating getting his new weapon, but two murders? and bother tranfering from and to the same families? this seemed to odd to be a coincidence. All of what I've said is the absolute truth, and I'm asking YOU to help with the investigation. I may belong to another family, but why would someone want them dead? who has a grudge against the two victims? or maybe even a grudge against one of the families. Someone wanted to send a message, and unlike your standard domestic case in the city, around here... we take things personal........ |
