I havint played this game in about a year maybe 2 and remembered about it today so I decided to start playing again. So I guess the point of this thread is, what families are the most powerful these days? and what family should I join? I know everyone is just going to say there own families but could somebody please give me an unbiased overview?

If you're just getting back into the life, I suggest you try to accommodate yourself with a smaller family to pick up the skills to advance in this "thing of ours".
Larger families are all great in all but for fresh people off the boat, I think a smaller family is the way to go.

I prefer smaller families to be honest (as long as they grow over time)
Joining a smaller family has its advantages, jobs available, easier to make yourself known and a leader always remembers it's first members. |

Well I do believe no one has really answered this mans question. Detriot and Philly, from my understanding. They both have godfathers... a godmother for Detriot and a GOdfather for philly. Number wise Detriot has a lot more |

thank you all for your comments, views and opinions, however I have now choosen a family to join and but again thank you all. I guess this thread can be used now for anyone in the future that chooses a life in this "bussiness" og ours so that they can express there questions or concerns on future and current families? |

A-Mac, it all depends on what you're looking for in a family. If you want a family where you have the chance of making something out of yourself, and gettng a position in the structure etc, I would consider getting into a smaller family, like one of the ones who just set up, such as Angel for example.
But, if you want to get in with the most numbers and could possibly not be noticed for the things you do, I would go with a detroit family, due to them having the most numbers than any other city.
Really the only thing to do is to look into all of the leaders that you think are possiblities and decide which one is the right group of people for you. |
