id like to propose the option to toggle the viewability of your level for those not in your family or city, the reason for this is cause it really has no bearing other than a reference point for your rank |

What would we benefit from this though? I'd say you'd want a toggle option for your rank next. Or maybe home city. |

the question is what benefit do we have from having it public? |

Leaving it open to view would be easier to code than coding a toggle system? I don't know, but sounds reasonable. |

why not just move the Level:45 (46) next to Don (46) lol the problem with having it open to everyone is you can see really quickly who lies about being new to the game if their a day old and have 20 units if you know what i mean it would make everything rely more on ranks |

I don't see what your point is. If a guy has that many units, and even his units are not visible, as per your request, he would still min time all the ranks below Made Man. But anyway, being a CL, you could see the level of every crew member. So wouldn't really matter. My point is, this does not benefit the game in any way. |

what if persay you have a level 60 gangster would that not blow someones cover that their building a gun? why not just leave it at gangster or why not give them the choice to hide the level |

| Lol for one, it is humanely impossible to attain such a feat. Another, building a gun has nothing to do with building your level. I can happily sit at gangster without jailing, and still build a cannon. | |

just simple examples but i still feel there should be a option to display what the player wishes to display |

To be fair though, i made it to 20 units on my very first day, when i was brand new to the game. so that's not really much of an indicator to experience |

Please tell me one valid reason as to how this would benefit us, and I will support your idea, nfp. |

Well, these levels don't really reveal too much IMO. The users (except) yourself can only see the units that are required for your rank or your next, so they will only see 20-25-30-35 etc etc, and mostly people are at the rank that their level shows. It's not like they see the units in between. So they do not see how close you're to your next rank (if indeed that's why you have proposed this change) I don't particularly see what having these levels next to your rank gives away??? But in the flip side of that, I can't really remember why they where brought in, in the first place. |

they could just as easily be moved next to your rank to help clean up the profile view |

| Aesthetically, maybe, but as I think has already been said, currently that might not be worth the time coding. Heh, it may be. Only izzy can tell you that. | |

True but it couldn't possibly take that long to code it |
