So, it's come to my attention that some people come to our streets and start screaming about how bad this world is and basically spout disharmony and Spam... I know I for one have rolled my eyes over many a -1 yelling about how they died an unfair death or how this figure or that is evil... Or in general, spam... Seeing that most of these people never seek to join a real family and most of them attack standing families and people, I'd like to propose another new color for the obits, or an addon to the red, because in my eyes, those who post threads in the streets no longer warrant the full protection of innocents. I'm not saying make them plus one, just a zero, so when CLs take offense to a post, they can delete the author without fear of -1. You say we rule the streets and, for the most part, I think this will help boost our ability to do this. |

I like this a lot. Only for street threads though, OOC and other avenues shouldn't count in my opinion. |

I disagree. A lot of time many people talk about how we should be able to speak in the streets without fear of death. Are we now promoting the streets to go silent? If a crewleader wants to kill someone they can wait until their protection is up, just like any other person. I get that there are people that continuously spam but I feel this suggestion opens the doors for just anyone, not just those specific few. Those that spam their annoyance will eventually meet their deaths, as they already seem to do. I do not want to see this suggestion put into place. There was a reason for the -1 wacks. There is a reason people want others to be able to enter the streets even if they don't like the current crop of leaders with their opinions. It's an opinion on the leadership. They don't like it. That much is evident. They are not going about it the right way but I still wouldn't want to see this door opened to where crewleaders can kill anyone just because they feel something is spam. There are admin/helpdesk to deal with the spam aspect. If others don't like it, wait out the protection of the person if you want the +1. |

heh, i agree that not every opinion in the streets is spam, i dont agree with waiting out the full time. i am not saying "if you post in the streets you should be switched to a +1" quite the contrary, i dont think their death should be worth any thing, much like a 4h, and like the 4h, leaders would rather your worth be the full +1, and deaths would still be kept to a minimal unless it was felt someone was truly asking to die. if a tourist walked up to marcone and slapped him, hed die.. why shouldnt it be the same here? |

Oh I get your points quite well Haven. I just think you are thinking of one benefit and not the whole. This would open the door for people to shoot just about anyone just because they can. Spam should be dealt with by the Admins. Not the crew leaders. |

apparently you dont though you seem to think that this would open it up for anyone to shoot these people, i for one know for a fact that most if not all cls will not allow that, its pointless to shoot people who are worth nothing to your gun... much like the rules in place protecting 4h players, only those the cls deem truly unsavory will be killed. the admins have expressed an interest that we manage the streets on our own, this would allow cls to do a better job of that. so sure.. leave the spam to the admins, but there is pleanty of other trash that needs managed. |

I wholeheartedly agree with Melis here (couldn't have said it better myself). Everybody should be able to have a voice, regardless whether they are taunting/disrespecting, etc. those in power. These players are still 'dealt' with. It may get tiring, but it still encourages activity on The Streets and I don't see it as a negative. Any genuine spam gets dealt with by the admin team, so - I just believe it should be left the way it is. |
