A small woman appears from the crowd and steps onto a platform waiting to speak. When I was a young girl my mother, not wanting me to witness her life of crime, sent me away to live in a land full of munchkins. While I was there I made many friends including a group of "tough guy" munchkins, the protectors of Oz if you will; a group who called themselves the Lollipop Guild. We ran together around Munchkinland, causing mischief and hiding from two wicked witches. After a series of miracles occurred and both of the wicked witches were killed we were looking for adventure. I got a hold of my mother and came back to this land and the city of New Orleans. I was now old enough to watch my mother and learn from her the ways of the mob. Upon her death, I had grown enough and learned enough to become the right hand to the great Don of New Orleans. When that Don was taken from me all my munchkin friends from the Lollipop Guild (who had heard how much I was enjoying my time in La Cosa Nostra) arrived on our shores to help with me to heal from my suffering and learn how to make their way in this life of crime. During this time I taught them the ways of the mob and we have all become great gangsters. Luckily for me, Sal_Giaquinto has granted me the opportunity to run a captain crew in the great city of New Orleans. The Lollipop Guild will have their own headquarters finally! Reading through my mother's journal and notes from my time in New Orleans I believe there are great ideas and changes to be implemented in New Orleans, under the guidance of my street boss of course. Please look for those in the coming days and weeks. Also keep an eye out for new munchkins to arrive; we will be placing a great amount of effort and time into training the new people to become upstanding citizens not only of our city but the community as a whole. I'd like to thank Sal and godfather Jimmy for having confidence in me; as well as The Riot and Relentless for allowing me this opportunity. Munchkin steps down from the podium and throws lollipops to everyone in attendance. As her munchkin friends begin singing "We Represent the Lollipop Guild". |

Munchkin's Munchkin Sayyid, with bodyguards in tow carrying a ladder for him to get onto the stage, climbs up to the podium and disappears behind it. After a few moments he appears again, having struggled to pull himself on top of it. A few beads of sweat have gathered upon his brow from the humid New Orleans air and exertion of climbing an object so many times his stature. Pausing for a moment to regain his breath, he motions to his guards, who present a positively massive lollipop for him to savor. After a few slurping sucks on the sweet, sweet candy, Sayyid decides to proceed. I, for one, am overjoyed that the little people of the world now have more appropriate representation in the leadership circles of today. For too long the munchkins of the world have been oppressed. If you poke us, do we not "teehee?" If you prick us, do we not do circus tricks? I can think of no better place for such representation to take place than the city of Carnival, Narlins! Hurrah for Munchkin, and Hurrah for New Orleans! Jumping down from atop the podium, Sayyid ambles off to stage left. As he passes by a prostitute he jumps up to slap what he is relatively sure is "her" behind, though in this city one can never be sure of such things. |

By this point Brick was squinting to see what was going on. Still. Nothing. Just this big crowd of people staring off at nothing. What the hell are they doing? There seriously must be too much drug use going on in this city. I'm going to get a better look at this. He ascended the stairs of his boss's HQ, grabbed a pair of binnoculars, and stared through them out the window. Then, suddenly he saw Sayyid struggling to climb a small podium and new what all the commotion was about. Oh, it's just those munchkins again. Oh well. This should be interesting. He yells from the window Congrats you guys! Look forward to seeing you around the city. He laughed to himself, knowing full well he wouldn't 'see' them unless they did what they were known for doing walking around on eachother's shoulders. New Orleans is not only pickpocket friendly, it's munchkin friendly. |

*smoking on that Jamaican Special, Marley sits on the bench located right near Street Corner Central* *Marley stirs intensely at the joint he is smoking* *looks up at Munchkin* *stirs at his joint intensely* *looks up at Sayyid* *stirs at his joint intensely* *takes a long hard puff of the herb in hopes that all the small people will once again become large and deeper voiced* *looks up at munchkins running in and out the HQ doors* *looks at his joint intensely* *by now Marley looks dumb founded and has realized that this time it wasn't the herb that made all the people small. this time people really were small* Munchkin Congrats on this new establishment. THis is truly a blessing to New Orleans! *calls over 1 of the little people and names him his personal assist* *this will be Marleys personal joint roller* *looks the munchkin but the munchkin is looking at the joint* *guess I must look strange to him as well* *grabs hands with his own personal munchkin and skips off to the HQ* |
