ICC Warehouse Started by: Viktor on Jun 20, '14 03:11

Walking down the street after a day of hard work, hands in your pockets to keep the Detroit cold out of your hands. As you walk down the street you notice a new warehouse compound just up the street alongside the waterfront. It was fenced in with barbed wire on top, along with a security guard in his post outside the gate, with guards patrolling the inside and a few with guard dogs. It also had some light poles on the inside to provide the guards with keeping unwanted's out the compound.

In the back of the warehouse, just visible was the dockyard along with a few ships being unloaded by cranes and a few dockworkers. It seemed busy enough and quite protected, making one wonder.

On the front gate there was a sign in white bold letters reading,

"Italian Connect Co."

Approaching the warehouse you walk up to the guard and ask about the place, looking at you closely most likely deciding if your a threat or not he sets down his newspaper and leans forward.

"This place here is the main hub for the "Italian Connect Co." they are weapon smugglers as well as suppliers. Word is they have a shop in every city. Very well connected and financed, i would stear clear if i was you. That is of course if your not connected to either of the owner's, both dangerous men. Anything else i can do for you?"

You shake your head at the guard as he hands you a business card for the Company. Looking it over you read,

"Italian Connect Company

You buy, we supply.

4 Shops in 4 Cities

Detroit Based"

as you finish reading the card you place it into your pocket and turn away from the warehouse site deciding that you will have to look into buying some products from this lucrative buisness. Sticking your hands into your coat you walk off into the cold wind of Detroit.

Redrum was sitting in his office with his feet kicked up laying on his desk. Glass of Whiskey in one hand. a cancer stick in the other when Tony had knocked and open his door

"Hey boss Bill's here with a order, Viktor had to step out quickly to go make a run."

Redrum looked up to Tony and nodded. He placed his smoke in between his lips and his glass on the table before he stood up and walked out the office. He walked down the stairs and to the front office to greet his brother. When he arrived the two exchanged hand shakes before getting down to business.

"Hey bro, heard your looking for a handgun and a vest. We got a new shipment of magnums in, huge variety. If your looking for a pistol we only got glocks at the moment though Viktor should be back in a couple hours with a new shipment. The vests are out back in the warehouse but will be $500.

Edward Bren looked at the address on the piece of paper in his hand. Yeah, this certainly was the place, it was abandoned, which was strange considering the Port of Detroit was one of, if not the busiest dock in the state. He'd been skeptical when this meeting place was suggested to him, but now he was here he could see it was indeed perfect, as he'd been assured it would be.

He crumpled the paper up and tossed it into an empty box that sat a few feet away from him.

He was here to meet a new business associate. Ed had managed to arrange a new shipping schedule for some choice, illegal narcotics and this new associate was responsible for handling the delivery into Detroit.

He walked along the side of the dock, casually smoking a cigarette as he waited. He didn't have to wait long before a man, who was dressed in dirty looking work clothes arrived. The man walked over to Bren and said.

"It's a great day to take a boat on the lake"

Ed, nodding, replied

"Water is nice and calm, great to do some fishing with a few beers in a cooler, on a day like today."

The other man looked at Ed and responded.

"My boat is stocked with good beer, if you've got bait, we can go see what bites"

Pointing to his vehicle, Ed answered, "I've bait in the trunk, I'll meet you at the pier"

The exchange seemed innocent and on the very slim chance that either one of them was not who the other was expecting, their lines weren't odd or out of place. The conversation was scripted and each had recited his lines to the satisfaction of the other.

Grabbing a cooler with bait from his trunk, Ed, headed over to the other man's boat, he boarded and placed the cooler on the deck.

Each of the men took an oar and jointly rowed the boat out away from the dock. It wasn't necessary for them to meet in this place but it was here that Ed's goods would be brought into Detroit and he wanted to see exactly where.

Once they had moved some distance from the land, they ceased rowing, baited a couple of fishing lines and cast out into the water.

They each opened a bottle of beer, and kicked back, to any observers they appeared to be just a couple of guys out fishing on an unseasonably warm day.

As they were about to begin the process of discussing their joint business venture, another boat started heading out towards them...

BlackAtom possessed a certain cargo that needed to taken to Philly. He knew that the ICC Warehouse had experts that could help him with this job. He went to the business district of Detroit to talk to some of these experts.

After a few hours of negotiations, BlackAtom was able to make a deal to get his cargo weapons to where they need to be. He pays the company in cash and goes on to single-handedly bust 1000 inmates from the Detroit jail.
