Alright now I know this doesn't happen very often, but every now and then a Crew Leader has to leave the game for whatever reason. RL get's in the way, it gets old.. whatever I'm not here to judge.

But, I feel as if there was a hand down the family option then this would make the whole process a lot easier! 

It would just be another button with a confirm button of course, the family would go down to the RHM/RHW. This way the family doesn't lose their members have to repurchase the forts or anything. Which would make the CL much less guilty about leaving the family.

Now I know your going to say, well what if the Godfather or District leader doesn't approve of the RH taking the position. Simple, they can transfer whomever they feel should lead. Then the CL makes that person RH and hands over the family. It would be a very simple process honestly.

The LH would become just another member unless reappointed or promoted to RH, the family name and info would be reset unless the new CL choose to keep it. The family crest would dissappear, unless the CL again choose to keep it.

A family is the Don/CLs family. Not the rhms or the lhms.

It's not the Godfather's crew. It's the CLs crew.

If the CL doesn't feel as if they're up to the plate to continue leading? A newly appointed leader can step up and purchase an HQ and forts.

You're honestly just trying to make it cheaper for someone to step down. It's very rare that someone would step down so I honestly find this unneeded and a useless addition to the game.

Yes but I just feel like if RL get's in the way then the CL should be able to give the RH the family. No need for everyone to get punished because there CL can't be around.

Now if they mess up IG  let them all get punished

Not a clue what you are saying there TripleDeuce, I think you've missed the point entirely.

I like the idea in theory, but I have to say I'd agree with Kyubey in that whilst the RH may be seen as the man to take over, they should be buying their own HQ and doing it properly. I do agree the suggestion would allow for a smoother transition in certain situations and would prevent the family from losing certain members as a result (I.e. players like Cav who might turn up once a month end up dead as their current leader sells up the HQ and fucks off, leaving them unsponsored.)

But the cons here far out weigh the pros to me.

Only that really wouldn't happen. Ever. But I see your point if you've experienced it in other games, I'm completely certain that wouldn't be the case here

The only way that would happen is if the Godfather let that happen.  Since it is the Godfathers district.  I think the idea is something that could be molded.  Its not a terrible idea, just needs work.

Honestly Garrus i like the idea, but maybe it should be a option the GF has. Where he can remove a leader an reappoint a new one (from their respected district only) without any changes being made to the crew. As it does happen from time to time and it would make the transition that much eaiser.

Kyubey i think your wrong, like Ras had stated the crew is the RH's as much as it is the CL's but at end of the day it's the GodFather's. It's his auth, his ass on the line if they fuck up, his members that were transferred. If he runs the district that  means he runs everything that goes on in it correct?
