Family tax Started by: Dandy on Jun 30, '14 01:07

I just wonder if admin can do about Tax in family or reconfigure it. Other members really dont pay tax or donate in the family how about make it a fix tax per family, like 25% tax cut off to the family or maximum of 25% tax setup in each family. with this the family could earn much better, than waiting for the members to remember that they need to donate or pay taxes

There's already a function in place that allows leaders to individually tax people based upon how well/otherwise they do.

well am just thinking how to make it more simplier to each and everyone of the family leaders

Report Post Tip

i liked the old tax system better. i want the gods to bring that system back

Report Post Tip

yeah that is what i mean Thorin the old tax system with fix ratio that a family leader can obtain with that they cannot raise it or something and balance the family cash earnings

Report Post Tip

what i mean is the old tax system that automatically send to the leaders whenever a member of the family will do a crimes and drug run with a fix tax ratio.

So, rather than the system which currently allows leaders to reward those who excel by lowering their taxes, you'd rather bring back a flat tax system just to "make it easier"?

I just don't see the logic in this one. In the first 4-5 weeks of this character, I had over $20,000,000 donated and thusly, I was rewarded with having a 0% tax rate. I feel as if forcing leaders to tax everyone the same would be a huge slap to the face, since there's some of us who clearly put in more effort - and deserve to catch a break taxwise.

Don't get me wrong, am just suggesting that the tax would automatically goes to the family bank account rather than waiting for the members to remember to send it to the leaders. just like before, just like the old system do. I do know that the system now is much better because they can designate each individual taxes. and am all good on it what am just pointing out is putting a definite max tax a leader can put in the family, and automatically whenever a crime or drug run has been done the said % will go directly to the family bank or the leaders bank.

The slap in the face that i could see in this matter is to the people who is hard worker and dont forget to pay taxes in the family, and a people who slacks around do nothing just earn money and buy credit to the market place for their own sake and not the sake of the future of the family. now that is the biggest slap on the face for the hard worker could get.

Report Post Tip

am just only protecting the interest for the whole family in this matter and not protecting a single person alone. money is something that makes a family more successful in our society, if one family will not work very hard that family will not grow, or if there is one member that is hard working but only thinking of the growth of himself, the result is the same the family will still not grow, or yeah it will grow but will take time.

I was the one who originally made the suggestion to allow CLs to tailor their Taxes on an individual basis. The reason for this is it gave CLs 2 ways to do things, a flat tax, or to micromanage taxes. As RasAlGhul said, it allows CLs to reward hard working players, and punish those who perhaps weren't pulling their weight.

Admin decided to implement the tribute system where taxes weren't automatically collected by the game, because it was a more realistic system. It allows greedy players to skim off the top, it allows players to control how much of their earnings they choose to give, just like a real life mafioso could do. If the CL gets wise that you aren't pulling your weight, or that you are stealing, then that gives the CL the opportunity to punish said individual, either by demoting, holding back ranks or a swift execution.

Admin have always been pro allowing players to play the game with as little automated interference, and I personally believe that the tax system as is is perfect for this. Dandy, if your CL is allowing people to keep all their money and not contribute to the family then they would need to re-evaluate their position as a CL. Somehow though, I doubt this is what is actually happening. At the end of the day, if a player isn't pulling their weight, its up to the upper structure to bring this person to task, as I'm sure has already happened, and will continue to happen.
